Tammy McGinnes, who lives in Bronson and lost her Uncle Robert "Bobby" Roumanos to COVID-19 on December 26, 2020, gathers bunches of baby's breath while helping to creat a heart shaped wreath in honor of the more than 500,000 people that have died of COVID-19 across the country on the Ocala Downtown Square Monday afternoon, March 1, 2021. "These (wreaths) are happening all over the country today as part of The Floral Heart Project. My brother Bobby died from COVID. He lived in Indiana. that's why I'm here. It's hard. You don't grieve as normal. It's our way to mourn," Debra said Monday. The Nature Coast Dulcimer Players were also on hand for the entertainment portion of the afternoon as played their dulcimers in the covered gazebo. [Doug Engle/Ocala Star Banner]2021
