Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden will start against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 5 on Tuesday, the team announced just before tipoff.
The Athletic previously reported that Harden, who was upgraded to questionable earlier Tuesday, was planning to play barring a setback in pregame warmups.
On Monday, coach Steve Nash did not disclose the grade of Irving's ankle sprain revealed in an MRI, declining to speculate about Irving's availability for the remainder of the series. Before Harden was upgraded, it appeared Kevin Durant would be the lone star of the team's big three as the Nets look to secure a pivotal win in the Eastern Conference semifinal series that is tied 2-2.
