Netflix's After Life Season 3 Begins Production With A Great Photo Of Ricky Gervais
Gervais has never made a show that ran for more than two seasons, so this is a first.
Production has officially begun on Netflix's heartfelt drama After Life, which was created by Ricky Gervais. Gervais, who stars in the show in the lead role, made the announcement on social media on Monday with a photo of himself smiling ear to ear with the caption, "Action!"
It's also revealed in the image that Gervais himself is the director of Episode 1, while Martin Hawkins is the director of photography. Netflix UK & Ireland also reposted the image on Twitter, confirming production on Season 3 has begun. This is a big deal because no show that Gervais has created has ever run for more than two seasons.
