Neighbors mourn Oakland 7-Eleven security guard who was shot to death trying to prevent theft

Over the weekend, Oakland homicide detectives continued to investigate the Friday night killing of a security guard at a convenience store near Lake Merritt. The victim has been identified as 59-year-old James Johnson.
