Negotiation over protests in Colombia remains stalled
Bogotá, May 28 (Prensa Latina) The National Unemployment Committee today blamed the Government of Iván Duque for the stagnation in negotiations of the emergency document due to its delay in signing the preliminary agreement on Colombia's social protest in Colombia.
We regret that the national government does not have an answer on the preliminary agreement we reached regarding guarantees for the exercise of social protest, said Francisco Maltés, president of the Central Unitaria de Trabajadores de Colombia.
Therefore, this delaying attitude means that the person responsible for the strike is the Government of President Duque, which does not understand the complexity of the situation in the country, he emphasized.
