The funds are to provide economic relief to airports across Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) announced on Tuesday that they had received $12.5 million in Federal Grant Allocations through the Airport Coronavirus Response Grant Program (ACRGP).
The 72 Nebraska airports across the state will be receiving $12,528,712 in grant allocation from the ACRGP.
“These funds will provide economic relief to Nebraska airports affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The FAA will make grants to all airports that are part of the national airport system, including all commercial service airports, all reliever airports, and some public-owned general aviation airports,” the news release said.
