Member of National Commission for Women (NCW), Delina Khongdup, is on an official tour in Nagaland DIMAPUR — Member of National Commission for Women (NCW), Delina Khongdup, is on an official tour in Nagaland from May 17 to the 24th to see the liveability of women in distress in the women-centric institutions and to interact with the female inmates in the general institutions. In Dimapur, the NCW member along with officials from Nagaland State Women Commission (NSCW), Social Welfare Department, District Administration, DLSA and Police visited One Stop Centre (OSC) and Swadhar Greh on May 17, an update informed. Intensive deliberation was held to collectively address the issue of women affected by violence. Khongdup highlighted the need to create more awareness on cybercrime, domestic violence, human trafficking, missing children etc. She also visited the Psychiatric OPD at the District Hospital. The need to strengthen rehabilitation services for mentally unsound persons was reiterated by all stakeholders.
