NCUA issues 2 prohibition notices in January
The NCUA in January issued two prohibition notices, prohibiting individuals previously associated with credit unions from any future participation in the affairs of a federally-insured financial institution.
Violation of a prohibition order is a felony offense punishable by imprisonment and a fine of up to $1 million. Details from last month’s prohibition notices follow:
Kyle Erisman, a former employee of True North Federal Credit Union in Juneau, Alaska, was sentenced on a charge of embezzlement in connection with his employment; and
Patricia Martin, a former employee of McCoy Federal Credit Union in Orlando, Fla., was sentenced on a charge of theft in connection with her employment.
