NCAA Tournament First Four live updates: Texas A&M CC, Pitt advance to first round

The 2023 NCAA Tournament began Tuesday with the first two games of the First Four round. Texas A&M Corpus Christi defeated Southeast Missouri State in the first battle of No. 16 seeds. The Islanders earned their first NCCA Tournament win and will face overall No. 1 seed Alabama on Thursday. Pittsburgh later beat Mississippi in the second wire-to-wire finish of the night.
