A teenager is recovering in hospital after a stabbing in the Upper Hunter last night.
At 6pm, emergency services were called to Tobruk Avenue at Muswellbrook with reports a man had multiple stab wounds to his back and upper arm.
Police were told the 18-year-old was walking in a laneway between Glenbawn Place and Tobruk Avenue when he was attacked by two men.
He was able to walk to a nearby home where he was helped, and police were called.
The man was treated at the scene, before he was taken to Muswellbrook Hospital.
He was later airlifted to John Hunter Hospital with a punctured lung, and remains in a stable condition.
