NBA G-League: Capital City Go-Go name Amber Nichols as new GM

On Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that Amber Nichols was named the Capital City Go-Go’s General Manager. She was previously the team’s assistant GM and replaces Pops Mensah-Bonsu, who left to pursue other opportunities.
The Washington Wizards are promoting Amber Nichols to GM of the franchise’s G-League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go, sources tell ESPN. Nichols was assistant GM, and now becomes second female GM in G League.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) January 15, 2021
The move makes Nichols the second female GM of a G-League team. The first was Tori Miller of the CP Skyhawks, the Atlanta Hawks’ affiliate.
