Navy takes helm for lengthy job of closing Red Hill fuel facility in Hawaii

The Navy on Thursday assumed full oversight of the permanent closure of the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility in Hawaii and the long-term cleanup of petroleum contaminated soil and groundwater left after decades of use.
