Folks have already signed up to run the 3.1-mile course, which starts and ends at the
WNC Nature Center. They will begin their journey by catching a glimpse of the goats, bears, birds and otters before heading out on a rolling, paved course.
Some people have also opted to do the walk along a paved route inside the nature center and see more animals waking up to start their day. In order to ensure the comfort of the animals, running is not permitted during the nature walk.
