SHIPS from around the world will gather on the Clyde next week ahead of the latest NATO Joint Warrior exercise.
Strike Warrior 21, one of the largest military exercises of its kind in Europe, will run from May 8-20, with some of the participating ships departing from ports on the Clyde.
Bankies will be able to see some of the vessels as they sail to and from the King George V Dock in Glasgow, while other ships are expected at HM Naval Base Clyde, Hunterston and Fairlie before joining the exercise – part of final preparations for the first deployment of the UK's Carrier Strike Group (CSG) next month.
