National Park Service plan to demolish historic WV buildings | Kanawha Valley

The public meeting, on Jan. 11, 2024 in Glen Jean, Fayette County, provided the public with the chance to learn more about the buildings being considered for demolition, including those in Thurmond, along with a lesser number of historic structures within the 72,000-acre New River Gorge National Park and Preserve in Fayette, Summers and Raleigh counties.
