A Nassau County doctor has been charged with five counts of murder  for what the district attorney’s office is calling “prescribing abuses” of “massive quantities of opioids and other drugs.”
Now, Dr. George Blatti faces not only charges of five counts but also 11 counts of reckless endangerment.
Due back in court on March 30, Blatti, if convicted of the top charge faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.  He was held without bail.
