Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, leader of the opposition Telugu Desam Party, has been sent to 14 days in judicial custody. Naidu was arrested in a corruption case involving the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation. The CID has named him as accused number 37 in the case. The TDP has confirmed a statewide bandh on Monday in protest. The CID has filed a petition seeking police custody of Naidu for further interrogation. The allegations date back to 2014 when the Naidu-led TDP government proposed the establishment of the APSSDC. | Latest News India
