Nagesh Kukunoor To Direct A Web Series Based On Satyam Computers' Founder Ramalinga Raju

Applause Entertainment has roped in filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor to direct a biographical series on Ramalinga Raju, the tainted founder of Satyam Computers. The bilingual show, which will debut on streamer SonyLIV, is based on author Kingshuk Nag's book "The Double Life of Ramalinga Raju", the production house said in a statement.

Applause Entertainment is the studio behind critically-acclaimed series like "Scam 1992- The Harshad Mehta Story" and "Criminal Justice- Behind Closed Doors". Nag's book, which was published in 2009, chronicles the story of Raju's unbridled ambition as it focuses on his endeavour to make Satyam Computer Services, the most successful IT company in India eventually leading to its sudden collapse.
