STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A beloved businesswoman has been paralyzed after a disturbing crash where the driver of the car she was riding in intentionally slammed the vehicle into a tree, authorities allege.
Robert Mustari, 48, of Slater Boulevard in Midland Beach, was driving with Diana Petrone in the passenger seat around 1 a.m. on Dec. 12 in New Springville when the crash occurred, according to a criminal complaint.
