CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WBTV) - A North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper has died after a lengthy battle with COVID-19, officials say.
The N.C. State Highway Patrol says First Sergeant Timothy âLeeâ Howell (A911) died after a âcourageous, lengthyâ battle with COVID-19.
FSG Howell died Thursday at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, and officials say he was supported by his loving family.
