My tenure as Akeredolu's deputy full of intrigues –Ajayi – Punch Newspapers

A former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Mr Agboola Ajayi, has described his tenure in office with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu as one full of intrigues.
Ajayi, however, congratulated Akeredolu and his new deputy, Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa, on their inauguration as the governor and the deputy governor, respectively
The governor was sworn in for second term on Wednesday after emerging the winner of the October 10, 2020 governorship election.
Ajayi and the governor had fallen out due to political differences three years after their inauguration together.
The former deputy governor left the All Progressives Congress and contested the governorship election against Akeredolu, on the platform of the Zenith Labour Party.
