Megadeth is parting ways with their bassist 
David Ellefson after he was accused of sexual misconduct – including allegations he groomed an underaged girl via messages and videos that circulated online.
At the time, David called the clips “private, adult interactions that were taken out of context.” But it looks like the situation is enough for him to get booted from the band. In a statement, Megadeth says they’re “officially parting ways” with the bassist, saying that while they don’t know “every detail” of the situation they know that “working together [will be] impossible moving forward.”
