Murder trial: Young Invercargill mum started to record her phone calls

Crown prosecutor Riki Donnelly played a call Samson made to Wilson on October 5, 2019.
The jury heard Samson and Wilson discussing whether to end their relationship or to get a house.
It appeared the pair agreed to be just friends, but Samson had one request of Wilson.
Samson: "...there's only um one thing, thing that I ask of you eh."
Wilson: "Yeah?"
Wilson: "No I'm not going to. Um."
Twenty-four recordings on Wilson's laptop were between the pair, ranging from seconds to longer than 37 minutes, Dix said.

Dix told the court he had listened to 27 recorded calls as part of the investigation, 24 involved Wilson and Samson.
