A MURDER conspiracy accused is alleged to have supplied petrol and crack cocaine to a fire-bomber for an ill-fated attack on a Greenock house after arranging the hit with a prison inmate.
Eamonn Magee, 20, is said to have conveyed George Miller to the Union Street property for an attack which resulted in the intoxicated 46-year-old accidentally and fatally setting himself alight.
Magee — who is now locked up — is the latest in a string of men to be charged over a series of petrol bombings which rocked the town last year and sparked a major police inquiry.
The Crown says he conspired with jailed man Robert Warnock, 24, Craig MacFarlane, 25, and the now-deceased Miller to murder a man and a woman within the Union Street address last September.
