MUMBAI: Online lectures for self-financed courses at DG Ruparel College will commence from Monday, after a month’s delay. After the matter was brought to the notice of the University of Mumbai, the administration issued a show-cause notice to the college management for the delay in appointment of temporary teachers and commencement of classes as a consequence.
Over 1,000 students from self-financed courses, such as BSc-IT, BMS and BSc-Computer Science, at the college were waiting for their classes to begin after paying their fees for the second- and third-year programmes. Other city colleges started the new academic session from mid-June. Senate member Pradeep Sawant has sought an inquiry .
