Mumbai Police crime branch officials raided a
hookah parlour on Saturday and booked 42 persons. The hookah parlour was being operated from the terrace of a hotel in
Andheri.
The crime branch officials conducted the raid around 2:30 am on Saturday. During the raid, the Crime Intelligence Unit discovered that at least 27 customers were served hookah.
As per reports, an official stated that the hookah was found to be tobacco-mixed. The hotel was serving hookah with various varieties. The Crime Unit also seized various varieties of flavours, pots, cigarettes and other equipment.
