Saugeen Shores Police Service said it took a report of a stabbing after the fact that had occurred in Port Elgin. The victim – who suffered minor injuries – contacted police who located and arrested the accused a few hours later and charged him with assault with a weapon and two counts of failure to comply with undertaking.
