Multiple crashes close both directions of I-580 in Washoe Valley; I-80 over Donner closed for day

UPDATE MONDAY 7:30AM: I-580 through Washoe Valley remains closed, according to Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol division. It is unknown when it will open. Alt. 395 remains open with delays. For the latest road closures see NVroads.com. Troopers are advising motorists not to travel on area roadways from Reno through the Carson Valley.
