Multi Radiance technology utilizes super-luminous and laser diodes to deliver light energy to diseased or injured tissue. Photons are particles of energy that are absorbed by the cell membrane and intracellular molecules, resulting in the initiation of a cascade of physiological reactions, leading to the restoration of normal cell and tissue function.
Following a clinical trial to evaluate a COVID-19 application of its laser therapy, Multi Radiance Medical, a Solon-based medical device company, is preparing to apply for emergency use authorization with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
