Mumbai: A special NIA court remanded controversial police officer Sachin Vaze to NIA custody till the 25th of March on Sunday.
At dawn on Sunday, API Sachin Vaze, arrested by the NIA court in the Antillia bomb scare case, was taken for a medical check-up to a government hospital. Vaze who had been arrested just before midnight on Saturday after a marathon 13-hour grilling was administered saline drops as he complained of weakness. Investigators were careful about his mental and physical health after he posted a status on Whatsapp indicating self-harm just before his interrogation started. Vaze was brought back to the NIA HQ in Mumbai by 09:30 am and his questioning resumed.
