Theatre composed entirely from telephone dialogue might not sound automatically appealing. Handheld devices can make dictatorial demands on our attention, and part of theatre’s draw these days is being told to switch off your mobile phone to concentrate on the here and now.
Yet Periscope Productions has created fascinating and inventively staged drama from the conceit.
