Visitation is Wednesday and a funeral service Thursday for Mt. Pleasant entrepreneur Bud Fisher, whose companies have provided the paving materials for businesses and public roads throughout mid-Michigan for decades.
Ralph "Bud" Fisher, one of three brothers who took over and expanded the businesses their parents Ralph Eugene and Zelda founded in 1925, died at home with his family by his side on Sunday.
He was 92.

Fisher is perhaps most recently known as the developer of Buck's Run Golf Club, which opened in 2000 northeast of Mt. Pleasant on the site of a defunct gravel pit the Fisher Companies had operated.
