And at long last, this national nightmare that were going through will be over. Women will be happy, healthy, confident, and free. You will no longer be thinking about abortion because it is now where it always had to be, with the states and with the vote of the people. Lord help, trump is still spouting nonsense as Vice President Kamala Harris builds momentum with some very positive new polls and growing enthusiasm. Also tonight, the significance of all the Star Power on harris side, which really gnaws as trump, who has only has Hulk Hogan and a few other folks who were briefly relevant 40 years ago. Sad. And we begin tonight with the 43 Day Sprint to November 5th. And if youre Feeling Kind of tense, not super loose, youre not alone. I think everyone who is paying any amount of attention to this election is some combination of excited, anxious, and thoroughly freaked out. We have officially entered the period where the Election Isnt coming, it is here. In a few weeks. Just a few weeks, we will find out if this country will face another Trump Administration with all that means for the future of our democracy, including Mass Deportation and project 2025 and whatever it is Jd Vance would do with Executive Branch power. Or if we will turn the page to a Kamala Harris Tim Walz administration. In a number of states, people are already voting. So were already getting scenes like these long lines of early voters in virginia. But the early Voting Process has not gone off without some hitches. In montana, the state had to shut down the site that generates electronic ballots for overseas voters due to a pretty big screwup. Kamala Harris Name was left off the ballot. Donald trump, Rfk Jr. , and the libertarian candidate, chase oliver, all got on the ballot, but not the sitting Vice President of the united states. Funny. Wonder who that vendor is. In other states like georgia, lawsuits are being filed, already challenging the way elections are being run. We will all be on pins and needles on November 5th or whenever the Peach State finishes hand counting the millions of ballots that will likely be generated, however in the world theyre going to do that, and whether lawsuits will prevent whoever wins the states where republican election deniers have a role from being certified in their State Elections at all. North Carolina Politics meanwhile has been turned upside down by the salacious and bizarre revelations last week that the current Lieutenant Governor Mark robinson who is the republican nominee for governor, not only allegedly frequented porn sites, he also hung out in the Chat Rooms as a character called mini soldier. Making wild pronouncements, calling himself a black nazi, disparaging mlk, and saying slavery was a good thing. Also, that he enjoys the transgender porn and other stuff i wont even repeat on cable. Robinson has denied the allegations, but over the weekend, most of his Campaign Staff quit. Leaving him with a skeletal team along with Donald Trumps continued endorsement. Although, when trump campaigned in North Carolina on saturday, he did not repeat that robinson is dr. King on steroids or even mention him at all. On a national level, Kamala Harris campaign continues to be nothing short of a juggernaut, meanwhile. Raising more than twice as much money as the Trump Vance Campaign and overwhelming them on the ground in Swing States. New polling shows harris gaining more popularity in the past few weeks than any candidate in the 35year history of the Nbc Wall Street journal poll. Shes gone from a 32 50 deficit to a 48 45 positive rating. And in a headtohead race, shes Beating Trump with black voters 18 to 34yearolds, women, independents, and importantly, white voters with a college degree. Shes leading by 28 points on which candidate would protect immigrants rights, by 21 points on abortion, by 20 on which candidate has the necessary mental and physical health to be president. By 16, who has the right temperament to be president , and nine points on which candidate represents change. For his part, trump leads by 21 points on who would best secure the border, by nine points on who would do best on the economy, and by eight points on who would better deal with the cost of living. Improved numbers for harris, but with the Economy And Cost of living the most important issues to voters in the poll, its the reason the race remains close. But even with all that data, what were seeing on the republican side is not just a weird lack of actual campaigning in Swing States like michigan, where republicans are complaining that theyre basically no Trump Vance Campaigners, and this warped Mass Campaign to demonize immigrants from seemingly randomly picked nonwhite countries, haiti, venezuela, and now trump has added the congo. Plus, a Maga Push to simultaneously radicalize Puerto Rican voters and black men against Vp Harris and for trump. What were seeing is a clear campaign among republicans to convince their Base Voters not that trump is destined to win but that if he doesnt win, it will be because noncitizens somehow flooded the polls to vote for harris. Despite the fact that immigrants know almost nothing about how anything in our system works, theyre supposed Lee Being corralled into the Voting Booth by democrats or by the jews to vote for democrats. And for the republican base, increasingly it seems that the only way they would trust the results of any election is if every single voter enters the Voting Booth with Armed White Christian Poll Watchers stop and frisking and interrogating them and then writing their vote on a little slip of paper which is then counting by hand and maybe, i dont know, handed back to the Armed White Christian soldiers. And even then, only after each Voter Registered to vote by hand delivering their original Birth Certification, no copies, plus a Drivers License and a passport to the Voter Registrar with no discrepancy at all between the names. And the part about the Birth Certificates and the passports is in the Save Act, a Mustpass Part of the legislation to fund the government and not shut it down. Heres the hitch that an eagleeyed journalist spotted. Those rules would eliminate from the Voting Rolls possibly millions of married women whose names on their Birth Certificates dont match their names on their Drivers License or passport. They often change their surname to their husbands last name. In that case, Women Voters would also have to have a marriage certificate, or whatever other maximum proof republican Base Voters deem necessary. Also, i wonder how Jd Vance, whose Birth Certification says James Donald hamal, how would he be eligible to vote if the Save Act passed . Anyone thought that through . Between all of that and the frenzy to register new voters, particularly young voters signing up in massive numbers according to vote. Org, particularly since Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris but are notoriously difficult to poll, and the aggressive move by republican State Parties and governors in Red States and Swing States to purge Tens Of Thousands and in the state of texas, more than A Million voters as fast as they can register with conservative groups even suing local counties to try to remove voters from the rolls in up to 19 states. We are clearly, clearly in for a long and bumpy 43 days. And joining me now to help with our Emotional Stress is our panel, tim miller, host of the bulwark podcast. Simon rosenberg, author of the hopium chronicles, and don callaway, founder of the national Voter Protection fund. Im going to go down the middle to simon. Lets go through these polls. Let us know whether we should be hopeful or read The New York Times Siena Poll in despair. Nbc news poll, positive views of harris. The Nbc News poll, her advantages among black voters, votes 13 to 34, women, independents, and white voters with college education. And shes leading on protecting immigrant rights, abortion, mental and physical health, temperament, change, and trump goes with the border and other things. And one more, the hispanic numbers. Theres been Worry And Concern about harris being soft, scoring softer with hispanics than biden did. Shes creeping up in that. What do these polls tell us if anything about where things really stand with 43 days to go . Yeah, i would much rather be us than them. She was already in a better position than Donald Trump before the debate. I think the debate did change things, a point or two in her favor. And shes running in most polls and i will say there are some polls showing something different, but in most polls, shes hovering around biden 2020 numbers now. Both at the national level and in the key states. So where i think the race is now is were in a much better position than them, but were not still where we juan to be. And we still have work to go do together to make sure that we win this election, because biden 2020 was really close. And we dont want this election to be as close as the 2020 election. But we have momentum. We have a far better candidate. We have a stronger argument, and i think something you alluded to, joy, in your runup is we also have enormous financial organizational enthusiasm advantages and obviously much bigger crowd sizes. And so, i think all that together means that as we go through these next 43 days its more likely we win than them, but we have a lot of work to do. Don, the thing about our Election System is democrats are built to win the popular vote. Its very hard for republicans to win it because they have such a narrow coalition that is almost monoracial. Its close to it, but democrats have to win the popular vote, you know, conversely, by an enormous spread in order to carry the Electoral College. Hillary clinton can win by 3 Million and lose, and Joe Biden can win by 5 Million and win, so there is a lot of nervousness and one thing making a lot of folks nervous is this aggressiveness to pull folks off the voter rolls. Super aggressive on the part of republican governors and secretaries of state. How concerned are you that all of these eager registrars including young people are going to have their right to vote enforced . Well, i think that everyone who is watching the democratic process should be extraordinarily concerned about that, and the reality is that part of civic participation baked in going forth, particularly from groups on the left, has to be aggressive Voter Protection. And we focus so much on registration and then get out the vote, but we have done nothing really substantially as a large, writ large Party Organization over the last 15 to 20 years since we have been running diverse candidates, by the way, which we need to hold these offices. We have done nothing to protect the votes that will be cast. This should be a golden rule. Theres no universe in which changing Voting Procedures and rules 90 days before an election or within this window should be remotely legal. Whoever is ready to bring that as a federal lawsuit, im happy to support it. Theres no universe in which people can be educated on how to vote in time when youre making rules changes. Its blatant Voter Suppression and its happening where we saw section 5 of the Voting Rights act taken away in shelby v. Holder in 2013. You know i love your show so much, but its important to pull all the way out and show the broader historical context of how this is all connected. 43 days before you can potentially elect a black Woman President. There are lots of procedural hurdles between right now and the Ballot Box. Amen, amen. We appreciate it because youre right. Tim miller, saying all that, there are a lot of headwinds facing Donald Trump. I mean, Lindsey Graham trying to get kansas to get rid of their winner take all system and get rid of that one district that can be one Electoral College vote. Biden won it, its typically won by democrats. That didnt work. Theres essentially a no from a very key republican who can stop that from happening. Obviously, the Mark Robinson Hot Mess thats happening in the state of North Carolina. And then theres the Save Act thing. They tried to push through the Save Act. Im going to put this back up on the screen. It would require proof of u. S. Citizenship to register to vote, it would not allow a Drivers License alone as proof. Most people dont have a passport. It would require some secondary documentation like an original Birth Certification with the same name. Jd vance could not pass that test, that Threepart Test because his name is not Jd Vance. He made that name up. So at this point, and they couldnt get the Save Act through, but that was their plan. Did they even think of poor jd . Jd has changed his name like three times i think. So he needs a lot of documentation if hes going to be able to vote in ohio if that Save Act had passed. Ill hit all three of those quickly. It took me a second. Using Mark Robinson and Hot Mess in the same sentence is not appropriate for Cable News. That derailed my brain for a second. Its cable. Sorry. But the Save Act, the good news is that Mike Johnson has folded on that, basically. So luckily, right now, the democrats still are in charge of the senate. Thats another thing thats going to be a big question here going into the midterms. But they werent going to be able to jam this thing through, and they have kicked it down the road. Theyre now go to try to shut down the government at christmas, merry christmas, everybody. I think as far as this election is concerned, thats not a problem, though down the line, thats going to be something to continue to monitor as don points out. As far as the other thing is concerned, nebraska, really quick, i think you said kansas. I was in Nebraska District, just to be clear, and my colleague just talked to deb fischer, the Nebraska Senator who confirmed that is dead. Thats really good news for the democrats because that Nebraska District could be 270. Its omaha, represented by a republican, but obama won it, biden won it. And if harris wins the blue wall states, michigan, wisconsin, pennsylvania, that only gets you to 269. That would throw the election to the house. Unless you win that Nebraska District. So thats huge that the republicans were not able to do any late game dirty tricks in nebraska. Absolutely. One of the keys for democrats to win those three states is women. You and i have had this conversation about how critical the Abortion Issue has been. Harris leading among college educated white women is a pretty big deal. Donald trumps reaction to that is to say, no, no, women will be happy, healthy, confident, and free under his presidency. Its all good. How solid do you think the vote of college educated white women is for harris . Because traditionally, its still a republican vote. Who do you want to grab that, joy . You, simon. Sorry. Sorry, okay. Yeah, listen, one of the most remarkable things i think about this current moment in the Abortion Debate is Donald Trump has this thing he says, which he thinks we all believe when he says it, which is, you know, i put the vote back in the states where it belongs. But what he did by putting the vote back in the states where it belongs is he took it away from women and their doctors and gave it to republican politicians. And its really in some ways the most one of the most incredible things he says for how openly and incredibly dishonest it is and how pernicious it is. Theyre in a lot of trouble. We have Ballot Initiatives in a lot of battleground states. A Ballot Initiative down in florida. Women are fired up in this election. The voter registers you have talked about is coming mostly from women. The intensity were seeing in the democratic coalition is driven to a great degree by the women of our broad coalition. I think that every election since dobbs, we have overperformed expectations. They have underperformed expectations. We have had this heightened sense of the gravity of the election in front of us. That is still the case. I think thats going to be the case in this election too. And i think, yeah, these numbers are very encouraging. I think that, you know, for example, in The New York Times poll today, they have the Voter Intensity with women and registration numbers, they have similar to 2020. Thats just not going to be the case in this election. So i feel good about where we are, but as i said earlier, we still have a lot of work in front of us. Rapid fire, don, will there be another debate . Trump seems to be iffy on it. I would like to see it, but i dont think it is going to happen. I would like to see it at virginia state, the black school that got one the first time around and was denied the opportunity this year. But it doesnt look like its going to be in this window. Tim, will he have the courage to do it . I kept saying yes, and im starting to lose my confidence on that. Like, are you really not man enough to go up against her again . Eventually, i thought his ego would get in the way, but he might be so delusional and convinced himself he won that maybe he doesnt do it. Maybe he should tap in Mark Robinson and have him do it for him. I mean, mark would probably do it. Thank you all very much. We are now six weeks away from election day. And people are already voting in state across the country. But a lot of voters remain undecided about a vote for Vice President Kamala Harris or Donald Trump, who i will remind you is returning for the third time and has incited a coup and been convicted of 34 felonies since his last run for president. Maybe some of these folks are really undecided voters and then there are people who arent voting for trump but need to hear more from kamala. People like new york times Columnist Bret stephens who wrote last week that Vice President Kamala Harris needs to do more to get him over his unease about voting for her. He explained what he wanted in an appearance on Bill Maher and got taken to school by my Colleague And Pal stephanie ruhle. But they do, those words do Echo Trump saying harris magically turned black. And yeah, it gets worse, when jackson was later pressed whether she thinks america is prepared to see harris in office, she said, i think either way it goes is going to be mayhem. Either way. Her comments generated Outrage Online until the credited producer on her upcoming documentary walked it back, before that person was seemingly fired leaving it unclear whether ms. Jackson still believes Kstdist Isnt black and really is willing to tell her fans there is no difference between harris and trump. Its a weird sequence of events, but jackson is not alone. Celebrities have made bizarre comments in support of trump, who has long depends on endorsements from celebrities because reputable experts have abandoned him. Still, the reality is that all campaigns want celebrity endorsements. Analysis from harvard universitys Ash Center shows it works. And its, quote, incredibly powerful when centered around calls to action like registering voters or Poll Worker signups. And it is worth noting for those counting when it comes to celebrities, Vp Harris has a massive list. And its really alist, up to and including oprah who may be the biggest Endorsement Get of all. Trump on the other hand has a clist, although he does have the parents of some alisters to keep Hulk Hogan and Kid Rock company. Joining me is alencia johnson, former senior adviser to the 2020 biden Harris Campaign and author of flip the script, the everyday Disrupters Guide to finding courage and making change. I love that idea. Love that book idea. Alencia, thanks for being here. Lets start with, i want to go back to Janet Jackson because i originally didnt want to really do the story because im really not trying to embarrass Janet Jackson. Ill a big fan. I grew up listening to her, but i think about the power of her. I was just at essence fest this year. She performed. Her Fan Base is massively black women. Black women All Around The World are her core base, and if she is this subject to Misinformation And Disinformation, i feel like she actually does have the power to spread that disinformation and misinformation, and that winds up dissempowering black voters, black Women Voters in particular. What do you make of it . We know Misinformation And Disinformation spreads rampant in black communities and the way to engage them is through a lot of culture. Not everybody i would like to think everyone is watching us, but a lot of people arent watching Cable News in the way we think they are to get some of their political messaging. Janet jackson has a huge Fan Base. I was a fan before i was a beyonce member. She also talks about Racism And Sexism and discrimination in her music. All of the jacksons have. Its great to talk about it because people are a little disappointed. And this is an example, to your point, of how fast this information spreads rampant and how its so important for us to combat it everywhere, especially in the digital space where Pop Culture and entertainment spreads a lot faster than truth and news. Yeah, and the thing is that these celebrities, they have a power, and we were talking about this on the call earlier, what is the power of celebrities . How do campaigns really use them . My take from the Campaign Side is they dont necessarily make somebody who didnt want to vote for Candidate A Vote for them, but they can make someone who was open to it register actually or sign up to vote or go out and early vote or commit. They can get people to commit. But when theyre actually being messengers on, like, politics and policy, let me let you listen to what John Legend had to say about that. I think fans and audiences should be careful about wanting us to weigh in on everything because honestly, like, no. The depth and the breadth of understanding necessary to contribute meaningfully to the conversation is actually like just not there for most artists. And you cant really blame them. This is not what they do every day. Like, theyre musicians, theyre actors. Theyre in The Public Eye and you want them to use that platform for good, but also, you want them to do it with a sense of Understanding And Knowledge and Wisdom And Connection to activists and organizers and experts. And everybody is just not able to do that. Alencia, youre teaching a course on this. How do we get that Balance Right in politics . My first political job was doing Communications Work for obamas reelection campaign, working with a lot of celebrities to refine their messaging. What we find is oftentimes its not the message, its the messenger who will to your point get voters from the couch to the Ballot Box or get people who are going to vote to actually start organizing and mobilizing. I agree somewhat with what John Legend has said and what i found in working with the Entertainment Industry and a lot of my jobs is celebrities, yes, theyre artists, but theyre also people first. There are issues they care about, whether its reproductive rights, racial justice, and a lot of times, particularly marginalized voices will use their art as a form of protest and amplifying the message. If we look at last year, hiphop 50, hiphop was birthed out of a protest movement. All the things that people have said about these abortion restrictions, theyre using their art as a form of not only Protest And Education but galvanizing. And the other thing, Taylor Swift endorsed the night of the debate. Vote. Org saw almost 30,000 Voter Registrations within 24 hours of that endorsement. That is the power of celebrity. Theyre not helping people decide on who to vote for. Theyre helping people decide theyre actually going to vote. Yeah. Its interesting because we didnt get a chance to talk about it, but theres a risk, too. Nicky jam getting said about him, shes hot, and hes getting pillories by his fans, but on the democratic side, theyre waiting on bad bunny, come through, bad bunny, because he could help us. Israeli Air Strikes have killed nearly 500 people in lebanon as thousands flee the south of the country near the border with israel. Its the deadliest day of the Israel Hezbollah Conflict since 2006. The Prime Minister of lebanon accused israel of waging a war of extermination. Israels Defense Minister said they would keep up the strikes until they achieve one of their War Goals which is returning evacuated israelis safely to their homes. Last tuesday, Hundreds Of Pagers distributed to hezbollah exploded killing at least 12 people which included children. The shocking move which raises the question of the Safety And Hackability of Cell Phone Technology itself left 3,000 people maimed and wounded. The following day, thousands of twoway radios exploded, killing 20 people and wounding another 450 people. Israel did not confirm or deny any role in the explosions but according it The New York Times, a dozen current and former defense officials confirmed that the israelis were behind it. Joining me now is ronan, Staff Writer for The New York Times Magazine And Author of an exceptional times investigation detailing how Violence And Terrorism by jewish Ultra Nationalists has gone unpunished and enabled the growth of an Extremist Movement that now threatens the country itself. Its such an honor. Thank you for being here. I listened to your interview on The New York Times daily podcast, and eagerly read through your piece. Its phenomenal. You also have done some great reporting on the Cell Phone explosions, which to me were a shocking escalation in the tactics that the israeli government is willing to use. Talk about that, because this feels like something very, very new and im not sure its not a war crime. Well, ill leave the definition to someone else, but let me put a few things into context. First of all, hamas has attacked israel on october 7th. And this is a War Israel has retaliated with a very aggressive invasion into gaza shortly afterwards. This war has been going on. How is that connected to the north . Its connected because of on the 8th Of October Last year, secretarygeneral of hezbollah, hezbollah is the most powerful militant force in lebanon, launched a war on israel in solidarity with the palestinian people and hamas. And secretarygeneral has promised, has obliged, has tied himself part of what is called the resistant front with iran, with hamas, he has made the promise to hamas that he will not stop the fire. He will not stop attacking israel until israel doesnt stop its war with hamas. That war has been going on, and prime Minister Netanyahu has been refusing to stop that war until israel eradicates hamas, and this is also why we dont see the hostages being freed. Now, what is israel trying to do now . Is basically to force hezbollah to stand down, and also agree to evacuate from the border, following united Nations Order from almost 20 years ago, allowing, as you said, allowing some 100,000 israeli refugees that had to evacuate their homes in the northern border of israel to go back, and forcing them to do all of that without ending the war, without israel ending the war in the south. And israel has been accelerating more and more aggressive moves against hezbollah ever since. And the first was to explode those pagers. The pagers were a means of communication, im not sure that all of you, the audience of your show, know what pagers are, maybe now, but this is something that was used in the 90s, just to receive information. This was the main core. This was the issue, this was the advantage from the Point Of View of safety. Its only receiving information, it does not send information. And in hezbollah, they thought this would be much safer because they believe israel is hacking every phone, and israel was able not to intercept the chain of Supply But Israel intelligence according to many of our sources in The New York Times, in a story i did with my colleague, they became the chain of command, the chain of supply. They manufacture, using front companies, they manufactured the devices, supplied hundreds of them to hezbollah and exploded them, as you said, last tuesday. We have very little time, but i wanted to get to some of your other reporting. It speaks to an escalation in a kind of search for endless war. Talk very briefly, if you could, about whats happening in the west bank. Because there are extremists there that seem to also now kind of run the government. And they do seem to not feel they have any limits on what theyre able to do. This government, prime Minister Netanyahu in order to become the Prime Minister back two years ago has tied himself to an extreme Ultra Right coalition. And that extreme Ultra Right coalition now led by someone who was convicted in incitement to Racism And Terrorism and another person who invoicates the most racist views is basically trying to cripple the palestinian authority, doing nothing to prevent jewish terrorism, and basically taking steps to secretly annex the west bank, promote jewish settlement in the fastest pace possible, and to do whatever they can to destroy the palestinian authority, and all of these have only this is the point of a recipe that would lead to only one thing which is the explosion of the west bank, a new front for israel, and endless, endless war, as you said. I could talk to you honestly for an hour, so im going to ask you to please come back. Youre an excellent reporter. Thank you for being here. Well bring you back another time. Well be right back. F0 on friday, South Carolina carried out its first Death Row Execution in 13 years. Freddy owens was convicted of killing a Convenience Store Clerk during a robbery in 1997. The key witness whos Testimony Helped Convict Owens later said in a sworn statement that he died and that owens did not kill the clerk. Both the South Carolina Governor And State Supreme Court denies a last request to intervene. And Tomorrow Night in missouri, mrs. Marcelis williams is scheduled to face the same faith. After hearing arguments, the Supreme Court ordered the state to carry out Williams Execution even though several questions are still raised in a 1998 murder. Including from a st. Louis prosecutor. Attorneys for williams still have an appeal before the Supreme Court. Joining me now is bushnell, at the Innocence Project and an attorney for marcellis williams. How is mr. Williams doing . How is he holding up . And how is his family and what is the status of his request for clemency. Yes, i mean its an incrediblely difficult time as you can imagine. Both preparing for what all hope wont happen but still still trying to have home. This is the third time that mr. Williams has been in this position and his execute has by stayed before. We asked about khrepl cy. We asked governor parsons declined to give any clemency. Right now were still appealing. And mrs. Gailes family did support the request. And they have not granted clemency in six years. And 11 people have been executed in that time. The Supreme Court only very rarely grants clemency. This is not a court that is defined by mercy. How hopeful are you that this conservative, ultraconservative Supreme Court would do so in this case . This is an extraordinary case. This isnt just a request for a court to step in. This is a request from a prosecutor himself. Now concedes his trial was not fair. And that there was evidence that contaminated the case. We have a prosecutor who wants this conviction overturned. To fought a motion. A victims family who doesnt want an execution to go forward. Surely we have to believe we have a criminal legal system that would satisfy that. That would come to a just result. And honestly, we have seen those stays granted before. This is not much different than the case of mr. Richard glosep In Oklahoma who the u. S. Supreme court granted review in that case because the Oklahoma Attorney General agreed there was constitutional error in the case that the lower courts didnt consider. Were in that same case, where theres an extraordinary time to have conceding error and thats what were asking the courts to review. And i do want to note that in this case the errors in question are black jurors being excluded such that he would not have a jury of his peers. And also as you said the contamination of the evidence. There was a desire to re examine the knife used in his case for dna but the evidence was mishandled so that couldnt happen. Since 1973, more than 200 people who have been wrongly convicted and sentenced to death in the u. S. Have been exonerated, over 40 of those incarcerated are black. Theres only a few countries that use the Death Sentence. And were one of them. This feels like, a case in which the governor is hard hearted in this incidence. Has there been any explanation to mr. Marcells family as to why the governor does not believe he needs clemency or deserves it. The answer we often hear, the faith in this justice system. That the jurors have found this and you have to uphold the rule of law. But what we know in a case, not only does the Prosecutor Support this. Not only does the victims family support, stopping an execution. The jurors themselves who were on this trial when presented with the new evidence also dont want an execution to go forward. So its really just an extraordinary time when individuals when faced with the new evidence. When faced with the errors that the system has committed everyone wants to fix this. Except it appears the Attorney General in the state of missouri. I want to read something from Justice Sonia Sotomayor in a Death Penalty Case from january of 2021. This was while trump was still in office. He supported the Death Sentence and executed something like five people in his last stint in the office. It meant the federal government will have executed more than three times as many people in the last six months than it had in the previous six decades. She said this is not justice. What message would you send to the other members of the Supreme Court. Particularly the six ultraconservatives as they consider mr. Marcells life. Irrespective of Everyones Opinion on the Death Penalty. If were going to have the Death Penalty and were going to enact it everyone deserves a fair opportunity for everyone to hear the case in fact. That is what mr. Williams is asking for and that is what hes being denied. His name is Macellis Williams and were hoping he will be wi t
