currency. that was last year. this year in january, trump also said that he was going to be against a central bank of digital currency. those are just some examples of where the trump campaign has maybe taken a page or two out of the desantis florida playbook. >> sophia chi, always interesting. thank you. cormac in moments, capitol hill reaction to a new notion about some black voters and whether they are really swinging towards donald trump. >> good day to all of you from ms nbc world headquarters in new york. dq welcome to alex wood reports. we begin with decision 2024. 11 days before the president debate. president biden is starting to be prepped this week. he is leading california tonight with a record-breaking $30 million in campaign cash after weighing in on donald al trump's consistent threats of retribution, telling supporters, quote, this is the united states of america, did you ever think you'd ever, ever, ever hear anything like ev this? meanwhile, steve bannon is providing ? new details. >> we are coming after lisa monaco, merrick garland, the senior members of doj, the prosecutors of president trump. jack smith, and this is not about vengeance. this is not about revenge. this is not about retribution. this is about saving this republic. we use the constitution in the rule of law to go after you and hold you accountable. november 5th is judgment day. er january 20th, 2025 is accountability day. >> tomorrow, trump will meet with mike johnson of mar-a- lago. trump asked johnson to help him overturn his 34 count hush money felony conviction. more new fallout from trump's use of the word horrible to describe crime in milwaukee, be dnc sponsored no boards have on gone up in a host city for the republican national convention next month. today, new reaction from trump's allies icand residents. >> with respect to milwaukee, he was talking about allegations of voter fraud, and also the crime rate. i think it's important for people to understand your murder rate might be down but that doesn't mean violent crimee is also lower. >> it's a regular setting. people are afraid of the narratives. >> i love this part of the world. it has made me a large part of who i am today. and for somebody to say this is a horrible city, it is 100% not true. it's not a horrible city, it is a wonderful city. >> we have reporters and analysts in place ready to unpack the new headlines. we will begin with julie circuit on capitol hill with new reaction from democratic lawmakers about donald trump's attempts to court lack voters. here is the question. is donald trump actually cutting into president biden's support among black voters? >> reporter: alex, that is something he hopes to do. you can see it by the former president's campaign stops in the last month and a half. he went to the south bronx last month. he tried to court a more diverse set of voters than we typically see in his maca crowd. he spoke to black voters at a detroit black church yesterday in michigan. so you see chthose images on yo screen. this is a slice of the pie, if you will, that trump is hoping to bite into. the question is, will he be able to do so? the answer lies within what james clyburn, a senior democrat here on capitol hill had to say from south carolina. here, listen to this. >> anybody who believes that donald trump will get 30% of the black male vote or 12% of the black v-mail vote, i got a bridge down there on john's island i will sell you. >> reporter: perhaps not numbers quite that high, but there is some new polling out there including usa today and a suffolk poll saying perhaps the lead i had in 2020 with 92% of the black vote compared to trump's 8% is starting to shrink. this poll shows trump is getting a little under 11% at this point in the 2024 contest, compare that to biden's 56%, e 13% of black voters according % to this poll say they are undecided. you can see why trump is trying to make headway here. this pole interviews a couple of black voters including in michigan, a key swing state an that says they don't like either biden or trump. this is something we keep hearing over and over again. but they do say overwhelmingly they would vote for, quote, the lesser of two evils. in their mind, that is biden at this time. >> julie sirkin, thank you for that. let's go from there to aaron gilchrist where president biden held his hollywood fundraiser on saturday. aaron, welcome. what were your big takeaways wo from the president to last t night? >> reporter: alex, i think sith campaign would say the biggest take away is a $30 million that this event drew in here in los angeles with this star-studded conversation that we saw at thee peacock theatre in downtown l.a. this is one that featured president biden and former president barack obama on stagen with jimmy fallon talking about with the biden administration has done to this point, the president trying to make the case to the people in the audience and others who were going to hear about the conversation last night as to er why he should be reelected. they talked at length about t several different topics from misinformation in the election seasone is different entities are sort of injecting themselves into the information process that goes along with election season. we heard them talk at length about foreign policy issues. they talked about immigration policy as well. gr one of the standout elements of the conversation came up with jimmy kimmel asked the former president about the decision that overturned roe v. wade. o the president talked about the possibility of what would happen were donald trump to be reelected. there would be an opportunity er for him to put more justices on the supreme court. i want you to hear part of the conversation in the video clip a that was provided to us by the campaign. >> the next president is likelyl to have two different new supreme court nominees, two more, two more. he already appointed two of them that are very negative in terms of the rights of of individuals. the idea that if he is reelected he is going to appoint two more flags upside down is really -- the supreme court has never been as out of filter as it is today. i mean, never. this has never been a court that has been this far out of step. >> reporter: now, i wouldn't be surprised if we saw elements of this conversation pop up in on some of the advertising and social media we will see from the biden harris campaign over the next several months. that is something they have i been doing. they said the money they are able to raise with this event, there was a similar event in new york city that raised $26 million. a few months ago, -- they are going to open campaign offices. there are 150+ coordinated campaign offices particularly in battleground states. they will hire more staffers, rw and they are going to buy more advertising. we have seen a real push to do that and to create advertising a that targets specific parts of the coalition that the biden campaign says it has to build in order to win in november. we can expect to see some of those things rolling out over th the next couple months. the next fundraiser is going toi be in new york city. that will be an lgbtq event that the president event will wrap up with pride in new york. >> thank you so much. for more on the story lines, i am joined by author and political contributor eugene daniels. it is good to see you, eugene. so, politico was one of the first, trump is reportedly preparing for the possibility he won't attend the republican t national convention in milwaukee next month. his campaign said, there are no plans other than trump attending in person. and yet, preparations are being made for trump to appear remotely. why make these preparations, and if he is not there, eugene, because he is under home confinement or worse, behind bars, how does that play out with voters? >> reporter: i think on the latter question there, for the q voters who really like donald trump, i don't think it would matter. i think they would take a video. they would take a podcast, they would take whatever they could get in hearing from him. t before those of the republicans , the nikki haley voters we can think of them as, you know, the suburban white voters, especially suburban white women who have been turning away from the republican party for years, they are uneasy with donald trump. they have been uneasy when we have conversations with them about the fact he is now a convicted felon. and they will probably be very uneasy with the fact he cannot show up to his own convention because he was dealing with his legal issues in some other way. i don't know what that might look like. and so, the campaign here, the trump campaign, the way they are thinking about these types h of things is, we are prepping. everyone is reading too much into it. the media is -- especially, people make plans to go through all the time. you need to be ready for individuality. part of that is true. also, i can throw things out here, we have these conversations in anger. -- the trump base even more, riled them up even more. from the trump base, it looks like we, the media, the politicians and the legal system are good at coming together once again to take on donald trump when that has t never been true. >> there has been an uproar after trump called milwaukee a horrible city. it happened during his meeting with the republicans from capitol hill. trump later clarified he ubis referring to milwaukee's crime. he claims the city engages in election fraud. but how far does that go in blunting what he originally said? do you think it is smart for the dnc to plaster the remark across the billboards in milwaukee as they have done? ke >> there is only one rule when it comes to the convention. it is, don't talk crap about the place you're going to be in, especially when it's a swing state itself. so, it is definitely landing exactly how you would think in those billboards that are up there. you know? the dmc, that's exactly what ham you want to do. there was also an ad in the milwaukee journal sentinel which had what biden said about milwaukee and what trump's saying. right? so they are trying to make a split screen between the two, saying basically for the dnc, the biden campaign, donald trump doesn't care about you. he doesn't like your city. 't he doesn't like you. why would you want him to be president again? i think, as far as blunting what he said, i think most americans are kind of, you know, they aren't sure what to do with what donald trump says, right? one day he will say something, then he will say some thing else. one day he will lie, then he will say something. he will use a different light. even if you given the information, -- the miss truth is what it is. you're not going to see a big change, but a place like milwaukee, he is probably not going to get a lot of excitement going there. but the folks around there, maybe they like that. maybe they don't think the city is a great place. but this is how he talked in the past about city that are run by democrats and states run by democrats. >> so, the capital era meeting was the trump visit there, the first since the january sixth capitol riot. this time, he was greeted with a chorus of happy birthday with a room packed full of republicans. he reportedly tried to bury the hatchet with minority leader mitch mcconnell. -- other senators as well who have been openly critical of b him since he left office. what is your reaction to such ao warm welcome, and to trump's radical policy proposals in retaliation against political opponents that were discussed in the meeting? >> reporter: i think it shows us all what we kind of already knew. you know? which is that, this is donald trump's republican party, right? it's not just the base that is with him. it's not just the folks around the country who have trump flags out and with them. it is the leadership of the republican party. this is when he ran in 2016. that wasn't the case. th they were not interested in him. in 2020, it was a little shaky. you had mitch mcconnell especially. to see all these folks on the screen right now, standing behind him as he is talking about the policies he would implement, it shows the american people which is exactly what the republicans wanted, this is a show of unity. that the party is behind him on the hill. he didn't have a lot of strong relationships. more importantly, it shows somei of these democrats -- look. if we win, we will do whatever we want especially if we get the house in the senate if donald trump is in office. you know? take this seriously. and if you don't, you're taking it at your own peril. >> last night, as you know, president biden held the mega fundraiser. it was a bit ldedgier in remark than what he delivered in his radio city music hall event in march. the event brought some of the thomist -- strongest attacks, president obama, even first lady jill biden. do you think going on the attack is the best approach for biden starting now and going through november? >> reporter: it is what democrats want to see from him. it's what the voters have wanted to see from him and his campaign for a really long time. he -- it would be better if they were able to see it themselves, right? doing it, you know, behind-the- scenes and having reporters that can write it up, then they send out these clips, that's all well and good. voters want to see him doing it out front. he has been doing it a little more and more here and there. i have been to some of these, you know, -- close doors fundraisers where there were no cameras out. people write down what the president is saying. but this is definitely going to continue. this is right around the nitime the campaign has promised people are going to start paying attention, and voters are going to start looking for things. i think they didn't want to, you know, low all the critiques of the former president to early on. so, as we move through november, this will happen morer and more. i will suspect they are going to do it more publicly over and over and over again. the difficulty or the thread -- the needle they are trying to thread here is making sure the separate him when he is looking presidential, working on policy, announcing different things with ukraine. and at the g-g 7, dand running president. so that's the thing they have to work here. basically, as we move forward the next five months, everything he does is going to be seen through the lens of the campaign. more importantly, we are very close to the debate. eb so, -- >> that's going to be a start. oh, yeah. okay. that's the start, buckle up. what do you think russia aligned countries can do to persuade moscow to agree to ukraine's terms? >> the single word answer to the question is, china. in other words, ukraine has got to get president xi jinping to agree to significantly intercede with vladimir putin if there is any chance for a peaceful conclusion to this. and the reason, alex, is china has emerged not only as the financial backing of russia, permitting them into any number of economic lifelines, but secondly, as president biden pointed out over the last week, china has been providing not direct military weapons, but the components to make those weapons, significantly microchips, for example, to russia. so, i think it is a smart strategy on the part of the ukrainians, trying to build a global sense that this war needs to stop, and to put pressure on hooten. what until china gets on board that train, the train will not leave the station. >> interesting. 80 countries, and it all comes down to china. vladimir putin put forward his own cease-fire proposal, calling for complete withdrawal of ukrainian troops from russian occupied currently occupied territories of which there are 4. ukraine abandoned plans to join nato. ukraine called these plans are absurd. richard is noticeably absent this weekend. is putin generally interested in peace? if not, what is he doing? >> reporter: as the prime minister of it is -- of italy, he stood out in the group of g- 7 leaders. she said quite bluntly, what putin is proposing is a propaganda move. i agree with her. i think any come of -- common normal sensory analysis would say hooten's quote is a nonstarter. it says, in effect, allow me to keep all my ill-gotten gains, let me guarantee that ukraine will never have a functioning military, oh, by the way, i want to come out from under the sanctions that have been imposed on me. i refuse to pay any kind of reparations for destroying 20% of ukraine, and there cannot be any war crimes, tribunals, or accountability. i would call that a nonstarter. therefore, it is simply propaganda for him to say, hey, i have come up with a peace proposal. it's a nonstarter. >> yeah, well, again, ukraine called it absurd. so we have that as well. so, the u.s. is keeping an eye on a fleet of russian warships. they are docked off the coast of cuba. they are soon going to carry out some kind of military exercises. moscow sending these vessels less than two weeks after the biden administration authorized ukraine to use u.s. provided weapons against military targets inside russia, are these ships any threat to the u.s., or are they just a display of force? if the ships pose no threat, why did the u.s. sunday navy submarine there? >> first, as you know, but perhaps others do not, before it became nato commander and therefore the european nato kind of guy, i spent almost 4 years as commander and focusing on the u.s. latin and caribbean. i know these waters quite well. russia you tamely -- routinely, alex, sends ships. there are three ships in this group. -- into the caribbean. typically, they will do a port call. i would be surprised if they didn't go across the caribbean to venezuela where another dictator resides, nicolas maduro. it is a signal, you are absolutely correct, alex. it is a signal to the united states. frankly, three warships -- although these are relatively new warships from the russian navy, don't impose any kind of real threat. we are -- we, the u.s. navy, are shadowing them, collecting intelligence. in the end, we will get more out of this than them. yes, we sent a nuclear submarine down to our naval base, also on cuban soil in guantanamo bay. by the way, our allies, the canadians, had a frightful in alongside our ship. so, this is normal behavior on the part of russia. it does not pose a significant threat. yes, it is a signal from vladimir putin about his discontent for our correct and righteous support of ukraine. >> yeah, one show of force meets another, sounds like to me. admiral james, thank you so much, my friend. some people think it's funny, but my next guest certainly does not. his report on donald trump's gibberish after the break. r th. cashbacking. cashbacking. cashback like a pro with chase freedom unlimited. how do you cashback? could a slight bump in support among black voters make all the difference? >> reporter: alex, a good bit of campaigning for former president donald trump on this father's day weekend. a good part of it was his pitch to black voters in michigan yesterday. he attempted to contrast himself from president biden. one of those ways was talking about low unemployment rates for black americans during his ministration. he railed against biden for his involvement in a 1994 crime bill that led to mass amounts of incarceration. that disproportionately affected members of the black community. trump's largest claim of the afternoon, however, saying he was and has been the best president for black americans since abraham lincoln. i want our viewers to get a chance to listen to trumps other comments pitching to black voters yesterday. take a listen. >> we are going to get your children jobs. we are going to make it possible to work. we will stop illegals coming in. your biggest threat are the illegals taking jobs. we have threats for security, too. again, so many of them come from prisons and jails, from mental institutions, even insane asylum's. the first community, and this is open knowledge that is being affected and affected badly, is the black community. they are taking your jobs. >> reporter: alex, as you said, we know here in michigan, it's a critical swing state and crucial for victory for trump and biden. biden won in 2016, trump won, and there is a tight race come november. a key part of the blood -- voter block is trump in the swing state. we sought trump launch the black americans for trump coalition. and the more you can see efforts ramping up to win over voters, specifically black voters in michigan as they attempt to take michigan in november. >>. well said, thanks, jake trailer. let's bring in tom nichols, staff writer for a reporter. before i get to your two new articles, i want to talk to you about the turning point conference. steve bannon joined, rather, donald trump yesterday. bannon named names he would like the trump administration to go after. he named merrick garland and jack smith among others. what is more unsettling? the fact that he made these statements, or the fact the presumptive gop nominee spoke at the very same conference just a few hours later? >> i don't agree have to pick between those two things. they are both pretty awful. and, you know, steve bannon saying these things, people could put distance between him and trump. well, trump didn't say it, but if trump returns to office, there ought to be a whole lot of people left out there in the country that are going to be willing to work for him that aren't like bannon. so, when you hear people like bannon talk, you should listen. these are the people are going to have to -- these are the bottom of the barrel, last- ditch, fit string appointees that are going to have to staff a trump administration. they are going to want him to do these things. trump is going to want to do them because running for, you know, to satisfy his sense of personal grievance and revenge is really all this campaign is about. this is to keep everybody out of jail starting with donald trump. so, it's not surprising you're hearing this. >> okay. let's move on to your new article. starting with this one. let's talk about trumps gibberish. that was sparked by this moment. everyone take a look. >> what would happen if the vote sank from its weight? you are in the boat, and you have this tremendously powerful battery, and the battery is now underwater, and there is a shark that is approximately 10 yards over there? so, there's a shark 10 yards away from the boat. 10 yards are here, do i get electrocuted if the boat is sinking? water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking? do i stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted? >> so, yeah, i heard that one, too. i was like what? gibberish is the right word to put to that. you write that this rant convinces millions of people in the american media to treat his lapses into fantasies and gibberish as a normal, meaningful form of oratory. how does he manage to do this? >> several ways. first of all, his audience is used to him. you know? i have seen that clip now so many times. if you look behind him, people just tune out for that. you know? uncle don is gone. he is doing the shark story. this isn't the first time he's gone into a phobic reverie about sharks. you know? they check their phones. they chitchat, they look at each other. you know? they sort of tune him out and wait for another applause line. there is a big problem, i think, in the media which is normalcy bias. this is the presumptive republican nominee. he can't be this bonkers. so, we can't report on him as if he is this bonkers because we will be accused of being elitist and out of touch, and looking down on how he speaks to ordinary americans. one thing the republicans have successfully done for years, even before trump, is to work about refs, to make people in major media outlets afraid to do what we are doing right now, to stop and say, what is wrong with this guy? you know, something is seriously wrong with this person. he can't be allowed near any position of responsibility. but, we don't do it. >> but why do you think moments like this don't spark the same conversation about his mental fullness fitness, or lack thereof, when biden faces this from the right? >> because we set the bar for everyone else where the bar ought to be for normal people. we have set the bar for joe biden at, you know, we don't expect a man who has been a senator, vice president and president of the united states to lapse into the czar gibberish about how afraid he is of sharks and people being electrocuted. if joe biden had done anything like this, or to take the detroit comments, if he said i am the best president for black people since abraham lincoln, it would dominate the news for days. trump has simply gotten us used to it. he has worn us down and gotten us all to accept that talking like this is just part of his shtick instead of, you know, letting us see it with new eyes as he tries to recapture the white house, and step back and say, normal people don't talk this way. a normal human being -- this is not a normal human being. this is a person with serious emotional problems. it was a real triumph. i think, you know, putting them on tv for 15 years was a big part of that, that setting that foundation. so people are just used to him. they think, that's just the way trump talks. as i keep saying, imagine walking into the oval office and saying, mr. president, there is a problem. the russians are doing something unusual with their nuclear arsenal. we are seeing chinese ships moving. the president of the united states sits back and says, you know, i have an uncle at mit, very smart, you know, that reminds me, navies remind me of sharks because they live in the ocean. what would you do at a point like that? i think people aren't really thinking that through. >> or he can respond to the scenario by saying that him do whatever the hell he wants. let's talk about your latest article. the jimmy clean hands election. you write that criticizing trump without trying to stop him is meaningless. so, whom specifically are you referring to? >> oh, i couldn't possibly name names starting with john holton and others who have gone on television and said, totally unfit to be president, can't be president, shouldn't be anywhere near the oval office, and i'm not going to vote for him, but i'm not going to vote for joe biden. i'm going to write in ronald reagan. you have chris cristi and john bolton, larry hogan and others who simply refuse to say, look, i have to be part of a coalition here. it is a binary choice. the electoral college especially in states where people like john bolton and paul ryan who has done the same act where they live, you know, these could be swing states where 5000 or 10,000 votes could matter. i named them after a character in an old movie, once upon a time in america about a union boss who loved to work with the mall but kept his distance. so the mob called him jimmy clean hands, played by the late great treat williams. a great actor. that's where they are. they want us to come out the way they want. they would be okay if trump won. they don't want the moral stain of being involved in this in any way. they want to preserve their viability by saying, i didn't vote for joe biden. it is really a meaningless position. it says more about the person who speaks it rather than, you know, either of the candidates. that's a republican saying, i think there is a republican party one day, and i still want to be a mover and shaker in it. so i'm not going to take that one more step. >> they may not want the moral stain, rather, that you are speaking of, but i think they are getting a moral stain of a different kind nonetheless, certainly, with what you are saying. tom nichols, great writer, great discussion, come see me anytime. thank you so much. >> thank you. what we know about a shooting at a splash pad in michigan, that is next. is nex and ensure complete with 30 grams of protein. >> reporter: alex, an absolute tragedy. authorities sent out a press police calling it definitely random. they don't believe that gunman, michael william nash, had any connection to the splash pad. they don't know why he chose it. it is also worth reiterating that he, they say, took his own life in the hours immediately following the shooting last night. that's a big reason why they say they don't have any indication as to motive. the 911 call came in around 5:00 p.m. the area was crowded with families. they said nash showed up with a nine millimeter handgun firing at least 28 rounds into the crowd. they said he reloaded multiple times, and he wounded nine people, including an 8-year-old boy who, today, is in critical condition having been shot in the head. what is really just beyond the horrible details of this shooting, what is really heading home for people, is the fact this is the third mass shooting in this area in the last three years. we are a half hour from oxford high school where there was a shooting in 2021 where michigan state university, there was a shooting last year. alex, i talked to you in the last half hour about this exchange, a woman we talked to said someone in her prayer circle said it had almost been to normal here for too long, and they were afraid because of that, something was coming. take a listen to this. >> another woman in my prayer group this morning was saying, i was feeling comfortable, and i knew something was coming because we get complacent, right? he's got a major political player on the outside who absolutely has political interest at the court. -- paying off a justice, justice alito is openly displaying affiliation with political clauses in public. i think it would be irresponsible for the president not to talk about the fact that this court is becoming brazenly corrupt, and brazenly political. >> democratic senator chris murphy, a surrogate for president biden, 2024, has no reaction to the president or marks on the supreme court. the president describing the court as out of kilter and out of step. joining me now, catherine christian, former district attorney at manhattan, now msnbc legal analyst. catherine, good to see you. the question is, do you agree with senator murphy that there is a crisis on the court? >> reporter: well, i think there is confidence that was being eroded by the public in the court. you always look to me as a lawyer, even a lawyer before i was a lawyer of color, criminal rights, miranda v arizona, you have to advise someone to have an attorney. we always look to the court as having the last word in the right word on these issues that affect our life. then when you hear about, you know, a judge, and they actually think in judge thomas's situation, on top of, you know, receiving all the gifts, you know, his spouse was a big supporter of stop the steel, all the january sixth cases, what happened on that day? so, when you hear that, these conflicts and the judiciary, the supreme court judges basically abide by their own rules and you can't remove them unless you're going to impeach them, nothing so far has been impeachable, and people in the public, you know, but their hands up and say, this is our court. so, i don't know if it's a crisis. but there certainly is an erosion of the confidence in their decisions. >> the president referred to upside down flags and so the court is out of kilter, that is out of step. how unusual is it for a president to openly criticize the supreme court? >> well, you might remember president obama did once at the state of the union. i think that was interesting. judge alito who called out in the middle of that, i think he has never been back to a state of the union. so, it is unusual. do you know? but one could argue this was an appropriate time to criticize the court, you know? you have separation of powers. but if one of the branches of government is sort of, you know, going overboard, it's appropriate for another branch to criticize them. >> let's get to donald trump's immunity claim. it is arguably the most important decision the supreme court will make. do you -- how do you interpret the delay releasing that ruling? is it fair to conclude at least some justices are somehow trying to help trump? >> reporter: i think it is fair to conclude it is not going to be 9-0. i hope i am wrong. it is 9-0 that says a president, a former president is not immune from criminal prosecution from criminal acts that he or she does while they are president. but it could just be, you know, they know that this is a hot potato, this is a very big decision. you know? it's going to probably be one of the last that they issue. and it will be interesting, the decision, because what will the lineup be? will it be in the special counsel's favor? it means that president trump is not immune from prosecution. so therefore, he goes back to the court and a trial could happen. that doesn't mean the trial will happen before election day, or will it be the president is immune from prosecution for some acts, but not others? therefore, the district court judge has to decide which ones they are, therefore, that means there will be no trial before election day? that's guaranteed. so, it's a very, very -- i don't mean to say it's an understatement to say it's a very important decision because it could determine whether or not donald trump will be put on trial for the alleged acts of crimes he committed. >> but when you say you hope it's going to be 9-0, you may not expect it, but you hope that. do you hope that based on opinion or based on law and precedent? >> law, and also the confidence. it is very important when -- i'm going to go back to brown v board of education, when the public sees that all nine justices are on the same page, that separate is not equal. it is also very important here that all nine justices are on the same page that, no, a president can't order a hit on his political opponent and have a navy s.e.a.l. do that. that sort of came up in this circuit court argument. they are all on the same page, yes. there is obviously, you know, there should be immunity for civil lawsuits. you can't sue a president to stop any frivolous lawsuit. but when a president commits actual crimes, you know, he should be, she should be if we ever have one, executed for those crimes. you don't get a get out of jail free card because he come president. you don't get to commit actual crimes. >> catherine christian, it's always illuminating. we've got a ways to wait until we see how this one gets ruled. we will do so with your help. thank you so much. coming up next, what you need to know about a story that will be hitting a large part of the country in the coming days. - -are you done?
