I think Maliek Kearney Killed Karlyn because she was the first woman in his life that was willing and able to stand up to him and he could not handle that. As far as dolores, she was a pawn and she would do whatever he said. It was important to Karlyn Ramirez and the baby into the family to bring them some measure of justice.
