Word. The 11th hour starts right now. Tonight, we could probably say the state of our union is strong and getting stronger. Goodness, bless his heart. We know better. Look at the facts. I know you know how to read. He was inviting the heckle. He was like what did you say . Oh no, you guys dont want another 2 trillion tax cut . I kind of thought thats what your plan was . He has turned this, the state of the union into an interactive speech. It was difficult to sit through. It was a hyperpartisan speech. Please spare me. I mean these guys are whining about oh, there was no unity. Marjorie Taylor Greene was on the house floor wearing a maga hat. And seeing marjorie Taylor Greene in her hat. This is a happier warrior. He gave not only as good as he got, but gave better. They call it Super Tuesday for a reason. This is a big one. The race is set now. It will be a rematch, and we like that rematch. It is now up to donald trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it who did not support him. Were going to take back our country. Here is the simple truth, you cant love your country only when you win. Good evening once again, im stephanie ruhle. We are 242 days out from the election. It has been quite a week. Donald trump is now the Presumptive Republican nominee. We saw a fiery state of the Union Address from President Biden. He touted his own accomplishment, and he also made it clear. He was warning us about his predecessors record. My predecessor, a former president tells putin, do whatever the hell you want. [ booing ] thats a quote. A former president actually said that. Some of you here seek to bury the truth about january 6. I will not do that. This is a moment to speak the truth. Here is the simple truth. You cant love your country only when you win. And hes the reason why they are overturned and he brags about it. I know we are as an american. And with that, lets bring in our nightcap and i warn you, its a spectacular one. Molly joan fash, also a vanity fair correspondent and the host of the podcast. Maya wiley joins us, a civil rights attorney, president and ceo of the Leadership Concept on civil and human rights and a former u. S. Attorney. Christine romans and mary harris. The host and Managing Editor of whats next, daily news podcast. I know you want to go first. Youre ready to take notes, getting extra credit, so i will go to you first. What was your takeaway . I love to be right, and i have been for so long like the guys actually really good and youre going to be shocked. So there was a moment when i was saying if im wrong, this will be really embarrassing. I was really happy. I thought he did a great job. There were some lines in there that were really good. His delivery, i thought they were really good. But there were things that stuck out to me. You cant only love this country when you win, which he said before, but its a really good line. The only republican clapping, mitt romney, right . And so there were so many times when we talked about things. The republican most likely to potentially endorse joe biden . Right. And also one of the very few republicans who believe what were suppose to be doing in this country, this larger democracy. So i thought that was really good. And i also, when he said you dont want the money for your districts . We will take it on back. That was amazing. And looking at mike johnson, he couldnt clap like the lead pipes, right . Kicking the lead out of the water for children. He couldnt clap for every third grader in America Reading and expand tutoring. Im pretty sure everyone could give that a round of applause. It really showed the place that trump has put the Republican Party, and i thought that was really interesting. Maya, i know ahead of the speech, you really wanted the president to urge people to understand how important it is to protect democracy, and there he was in the room, standing before congress where the insurrection happened three years ago. Do you think he got that point home . Oh, yeah. [ laughter ] and i just want to say, molly is always right because she supported me from there. There you go. Im just saying. But no, molly is totally right about what he delivered. And he started with democracy in such an interesting way that took me back. I thought wait, wait, wait, hes running for president. What is he doing . And then it became very elegantly clear that he was starting with this theme, which was history, and not just history that we are in terms of our period, but what history are we going to make . And i may be older, but im wiser . And we will come back to the end of his speech, but he did that. And immediately made it not just a Foreign Policy issue, which is why i was surprised. Its a bold move. But he quickly brings it in to january 6 and the insurrection, which is what sets up his point about you cant just love this country when you win, which is not only a difference. And i will say i want to hear him say it. I want to hear him say its about our right to vote. And i wanted to hear him say john lewis voting advancement act, the freedom to vote act. The other point is the reason we have the big lies that are just old lies, not even new lies about voter fraud and that great setup before the state of the union when he reminds us of all of trumps indictments. And all of this big lie is trying to take an election. And he is reminding us of that and he is reminding us in a way that will bring it back to the fundamentals of what leadership is and protecting democracy is and that it is for all of us. And i cant when he looks at the Supreme Court and the justices who are sitting there. Okay. I was like [ laughter ] you didnt think you were going to get that out of joe biden . I did not. When he said yeah, you know, women are not without that power. No kidding, which is also a message to talk about and what we all needed to hear, the first fundamental rights that we have ever had taken from us in the history of this country and that is what he made clear throughout. But he pulled it back to what it does for us on the every day living point. And you actually mentioned the one, stephanie, that i was going to say, which is yeah, he talked about our kids learning in school and the thing that they have dropped the ball on. And all they have done is weaponized education and not made it about how it could be a weapon to divide us, and he brought us back to what they are suppose to do for us. Christine, he did talk a lot about the economy. How do you think he did . I think last year when he talked about the fees and junk fees, that was in the feature last year and they feel terrible, trying to show, look, wall street sat record highs. They never mentioned wall street. At the same day they hit record highs, hes talking about nickeling and Diming Americans and what the policy is going to do. Big picture and small picture. All these different fees and the tax policy and the tax fairness as he calls it. He reset the table on both the economy and the overall, i think, agenda for a second term. I think he did well on the economy. I also think that people are starting to feel less terrible about the economy. And the state of the economy is strong. The state of the american perception of the economy is skeptical at best. Bingo. There is a big grand canyon that he has to kind of, you know, navigate. It is not a needle to thread, but the grand canyon. And i think, you know, yesterday he just reset that table. And then he reset it . Exactly. I like that. And you could see the snack machines. That was a huge part of this, just making it concrete for people. And they argued how could he make this so political . Wow. I think it was Michael Steele who said at the top of the show, the last time he gave a state of the Union Address, he literally gave a medal. Right. And so given those are the arguments against President Bidens speech that republicans are giving, is that them conceding you got that one . Lets be clear. Its not that he did something new here. He accepted the terms of the speech. The speech has changed. And when i was growing up, you sat there, it was like going to church, but what it is like right now, some guy will get up and call you a liar. And that is what the state of the union is now and that is important to talk about. I think we need to linger a bit in how a lot of people are feeling before this speech. We were feeling like oh, this is someone who is older and also this is a rerun like we have been here before, so dread in boredom. Thats what we were going into this speech with. Lack of enthusiasm. Wow, you really made it set up for a big night. Right . And that will give them a pretty low bar to clear, which he did and he really used the foils of the Republican Party and just stepped up to them, and that is really important. I feel like before this speech, i was thinking about the selection like i really need to reset about how i think about elections and im used to falling in love and maybe i really need to think about this more, you know what i mean . And that someone else spoke last night. And it is safe to say and im not giving you that overarching opinion. Lets share a bit of it. The True Unvarnished state of our union begins and ends with this. Our families are hurting. Our country can do better. Im afraid to continue because molly will set herself on fire. The fellow alabama senator who said, give me a second. That she did a good job. She was picked as a housewife, not just a senator. Somebody who sees it from a different perspective. First of all lets just say this. And there is nothing wrong with being the housewife. Shes not a housewife. She is a u. S. Senator. But how telling is this that this is where republicans want to weave us to. Lets go back to that kitchen where that mother is, where that woman is, where she should be flanked by her children because thats a womans place. Is that the message they were trying to send us last night . I mean theyre a mess. Everything thats not trump in this party is a mess. You think hes not . I mean hes a mess too, but at least trump is a thing whereas Everything Else is not trump in the Republican Party, but still trumpy, so they didnt have a lot of great choices. Remember, they liked her because she was young and a woman and didnt seem too crazy, right . And beautiful. And you couldnt put marjorie Taylor Greene there. They dont have a ton of choices and a lot of these republicans are retiring. So i would say that was a part of it. I would say it was a bad choice to begin with because alabama has this ivf stuff, where the governor just signed a legislation, which still says people completely crazy, but it ivf is good business. I mean it is so crazy. So i think that she was the only choice they could find. She overacted. Look, the republican state of the Union Response is cursed from bobby to marco rubio. They never can do it right. But this was next level. Christine, one group of voters that both donald trump and joe biden need to focus on especially this week are nikki haley voters. President biden within the first two remarks referenced ronald reagan. So when you look at his remarks and you look at katie britt, who do you think did a better job trying to appeal to those voters . And where are those voters going to go . The president s speech, he was talking to democrats last night. I mean he really was talking to democrats. Do haley voters who were looking for something from the president find it . I dont know. They certainly dont think they have it in Donald Trumps land, right . At this moment . So what changed the needle for those people in the middle of the road, the haley voters last night. I dont know if anything changed for them. They might still be in the wilderness. I mean, i certainly think thats true about who the president was speaking to last night, and what nikki haley voters are probably thinking. I just have different analysis of it, which is a Turnout Election. And this is a Turnout Election of the 2020 that was a Turnout Election and 2016 was a Turnout Election. And so this really is a question about both who has a desire to show up, and then who can show up. And im saying both of those things with intention because one of the things the president needed to do that night, last night, is really energize his base. He needed to energize his base, and i think he advanced the ball if that is the Playing Field that he was on, and i think he was. The flipside is about who can and the fact that we have seen this. We know that Voter Suppression laws have been working, and they have been working on the very voters who are democratic voters, an intentional strategy that is often as we known, including even this ideological Supreme Court thing. Its undermining it, it is now isnt the that has a study showing 14 million more voters of color would have voted if it wasnt for the removals of protection. I say that because the truth is if the president did his job and donald trump keeps performing the way they are performing, it is more likely they wont turn out for the party. It is not just whether they vote for trump. Mary . Yeah. I think it is huge and this week, i had jayapal on my show. I was shocked at how honest she was. She was like this reminds me of 2016. By the way, im behind joe biden 100 . Im like how are you squaring this right now . And it is all because of turnout. And the whole time, the media and they ran like 57 pieces about how biden is old. The guy is pretty sharp. I have been in this white house, i have talked to people. I see what theyre doing. I think hes pretty sharp. And they would be like no, molly, you are just a partisan. I was in a staff meeting like he really seemed sharp to me and everyone was like no, molly. So when he was sharp, i was like yeah, hello, hes sharp. So i think a lot of this, there was a narrative that the gop brilliantly got the Mainstream Media to run with. The enthusiasm factor, and this is why i do think theres two things. I mean he does have a gen z issue. And gen z was really the historic turnout in 2022 and a part of the success story. I will say this because we should not blame them and it is the job of people to win their votes and that is a big part of what they were doing last night and im going to deliver some things that they care about. And these two candidates have eight months, young people have shortterm memories, so they have time to get them motivated. When we come back, republicans keep talking about The Good Old Days of President Trump, and a lot of americans actually agree that things were better four years ago. So the question is, how have they forgotten so much . Our nightcap and the 11th hour continues. Pain. Its joint pain that hurts him all the time. Come on, scout. Now, theres librela. The first and only oncemonthly injection to control your dogs oa pain. Veterinary professionals administering librela who are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breast feeding, should take extreme care to avoid selfinjection, which could cause allergic reactions like anaphylaxis. Harness the power of xfinity internet and stay connected to the things you love. Ah, theyll be like this for hours. Hello dad, hello dad, hello da. Uhoh. Good bunnies. Ahh four years ago next week before i came to office, the country was hit by the worst pandemic and the worst economic crisis in the century. Remember the fear, record losses . Remember the spikes in crime and the murder rate, raging virus that took more than one million american lives of loved ones, millions that were left behind. The Mental Health crisis of isolation and loneliness. Four years might not seem that long. But in politics, it is long enough to forget a lot of things. This week, 65 of voters told a cbs news poll that the trump economy was good. Well just 38 , it is good under President Biden. The Big Reason Trump is leading overall in some of those polls because americans are forgetting just how bad things were just four years ago. Our nightcap still with us. Christine, put personality aside. President bidens economy is clearly outperforming Donald Trumps. Why do you think it doesnt translate . I think covid stole our optimism. I think we were shutting things down. And they have stolen our ability to look at the bright side of things, becoming comfortable with discomfort. Not knowing what would happen next is reflective of every single poll. And the economy is strong, gdp is stronger, its been strong for three years. We didnt have a recession, withstanding the banking crisis. They would say yeah and they would give me the stink face that nobody believes it. Im convinced covid stole our optimism and it will take time to control that. The republicans are playing up the contrast to look back four years. Just watch this. Reporter are you better off today than you were four years ago . The answer for Hard Working Americans across the country is a resounding no. You have to go back to that future, 2017 to 2020. We want those four years one more time. People remember how good things were when donald trump was president. Folks have done better under trump than they have done under biden. America was stronger when President Biden was in office. I dont need to rattle off all the economic facts. Four years ago our schools were closed, unemployment was up here. The future seemed bleak. We have a better economic recovery than any country in the developed world. What do you make of this that somehow weve forgotten it . So sadly it seems that if you say a lot often enough, some people will start to think it was true. And like we have lost so much of that optimism. I also think that it is one of the things biden did last night. I mean as we know, it wasnt just that our kids were in school, that people were dying, the city that had refrigeration to this day and that many of us will have the sound of sirens ringing in our ears. Those sirens were ringing nonstop. Even when no one was in the streets. And that he also said that when he would talk about what was in that recovery. I mean reducing Child Poverty by 40 . That we would have so many children get going hungry. I mean keeping people in their homes were actually getting a check to make sure they were able to buy food and put it on the table, making sure they did not become homeless. Those are the things we did. Thats what we have to remind you. Even if you look ahead at what Donald Trumps proposed policies are, mass deportation that will hurt our Labor Shortage and make life more expensive. Tariffs, again, inflationary. And then you look back and say what is it that they are connected to . Big business for Corporate Tax cuts, degree regulation. Did people understand what hes looking to do from an economic standpoint . Because it wont help the everyday consumer. Most people will see the strength he projects and that is what they relate to honestly. I also think there is something that has happened in the past four years. Prices are 17 higher than they were right now in 2020. Grocery store prices are up 25 . Gas prices are down, but groceries. I think those Inflation Scars are still pretty fresh. That feeds into this feeling that things were better under trump. We didnt have to pay so much for ground beef and eggs under trump. We can explain all the reasons why and inflation is starting to moderate, but that is not how they see it. Every single time im on the phone with my mother, shes telling me the price of ground brief and eggs. Chicken wings, every time i talk to her. Not just the economy, but think about the chaos that ensued every single day that President Trump was in office. President biden has a war chest of Campaign Dollars behind him. If he spends the next 442 days using all the social media outlets, reminding the American People donald trump said this, donald trump said that. Would that be the reminder that people need . Maybe. I think about tariffs, for instance. Trump is promising to do again. He did that the first time around. I think if you look at the reports about it, everyone agrees it led to unemployment. So then covid came in. And a giant farm aid bill that he had to put through because farmers were suffering. Biden kept them all on too. The policy didnt really change. Yes. Hes promising to do more, but we kind of memory hold what happened because of it. You know what i mean . Covid came as huge emergency. It kind of clears the decks in your brains. And youre not thinking about tariffs. So youre like we did it before, and that is whats happening. Donald trump did a spectacularly bad job with covid, like shockingly bad. Our death rate was significantly higher than it should have been. You know, its funny because i heard him give a speech and i didnt give him any credit for covid. Im thinking to myself, youre very lucky that you did not get that. Isnt that funny that there is more talk about what a bad job Anthony Fauci did or things that we did wrong, and you dont actually hear that much about what a terrible job the president at the time did and even acknowledging that we were going through the pandemic . By the way, he could have just not politicized it. He could have said like this is a pandemic, and that we are sort of learning as we go. Instead he told his people that this was political and they could take it and not wear masks, and these people were taken advantage of. And hundreds of thousands tied. And it was donald trump as a president who helped contribute to the rise of antiasian hate and violence. By calling it, you know, by associating it with china. He called it the china virus. All of that with what people were feeling, isolation, fear, and all those things for some folks got turned completely the most horrific way against when you say that, it makes me think back to four years ago. Im not excited. And we were excited about joe biden four years ago. They were voting against donald trump and they were voting for competency, normalcy. Have we forgotten that . I mean, i think last night was the joe biden that got electioned in 2020. Hes got a lot of good policy, right . I mean you live in some of these states, and the chip stuff is very boring, but thats a huge deal. So i do actually think there is a lot of really good policy. If he gets out there and screams about it. By the way, i love the screaming and he should scream all the time. If he gets out there and screams all the time, i think that will go far. And then how does he balance, right . He wants to be projecting joe biden, look forward, inspiring people. Well at the same time, reminding them of where we were and what we had. Its interesting. Youve got basically two incumbents running against each other. Yeah, its an unprecedented situation. How do you see this election . Is this an election where you have two incumbents . An election where you have, you know, someone who has been running a race like donald trump against other people. How do you see his success . And all those things. But i think whats interesting and you saw him getting in that speech last night is something that is really important for us to Pay Attention to when it comes to the economy. Perry beacon had an interesting article in the post a couple weeks back that said why cant democrats run in the economy . And because they need to address the insecurity that people feel and they are seeing their Housing Costs go up. He started hitting that. He needs to get to that insecurity because frankly donald trump does address that. He addresses it head on. How . And yes, Title Insurance fees. The white house thinks they could wave those. Like thats what they are doing after. They are going after the ways they could use the levers of power without congress that will not help. And they have to tell people that they are doing this. When i dont have, when my credit card fees are capped and im looking at my bill, am i really going to think joe biden did that for me . Just like when i get a raise and that is because im so good at my job. And he needs to make sure they let him sign. And guess what, it was a good move. It was. He put his name on those checks and he gets credit for them. Nancy pelosi pushed it. And the jury is out whether they will actually land. I mean people, they still feel pretty bad about the inflation they lived through. The price levels are higher today. Home insurance is terrible, autoinsurance is terrible. A lot of things are happening all at once and they are trying to let people know that a lot of that is out of their hands. You also have student debt. There are people in this country who no longer have student debt. And everybody is staying right here. When we come back, Savannah Guthrie says writing her new book was the most vulnerable thing she has ever done. I sat down to talk to her about faith and gods love when the 11th hour and the nightcap continues. So far we have talk about the week of politics, Super Tuesday, the general election. Now i want to talk about something different. My dear friend Savannah Guthrie is out with a personal important book about the simplicity and importance of faith. Reflections on seeking and finding his love everywhere. I sat down with savannah to talk about it. Watch this. You know, i never thought i would be writing a book about anything. Even though faith is really important to me and ive been in a relationship with god for all these years. , but i want looking to get out there to write some book about faith or religion, but the opportunity came to me and i had something good to say about god and it is a Pretty Simple message. The rest of the sentences, mostly what he does is love you. And it sounds simple, but it is not easy to believe and that it is a love letter to god this book and about the love letter he writes to us. People often put faith or religion in this separate category or they think im not a religious person. You say the opposite in this book . Absolutely. I think faith is for everyone and all of us who want to believe even if sometimes we come with a lot of doubt. I wrote a lot about that. I think faith and doubt are not opposites. I think they go hand in hand. I think doubt in a way is faith being exercised, you know. Faith being exerted, questions being asked. Apathy and difference are far more polar opposites to faith in my opinion. And by the way, i should give my disclaimer. Im no scholar. I went to church camp. I dont think that counts. Im just a regular person. Im not holding up my life as any kind of model to follow. Quite the opposite. This book is full of my mistakes, my setbacks and despair. But through it all, i found this relationship with god really transcends all of that. You talk in the book about god loves you the way you love your children. And for people who dont have faith or for people who are overwhelmed parents, they feel like they have known nothing. Is it that connection that youre hoping to get people to see that he is always with you and here for you and that it will be okay . I believe god is more about show and tell than stone tablets from the mountains. I think parenthood is the greatest show in tell and the greatest metaphor because there is no other relationship like it where it is truly unconditional and the way we marvel our kids and delight in their milestones. You know, god feels that way about us. How do you know that . Because he says so. If you believe the bible, its shot through the scriptures. The metaphor that got him used is a father to child. That is exactly who you are. That is from scripture. The point is god takes great delight in us. And so when you think about how you love your child and you let it in for just a moment that god loves you that way too. He doesnt just love you because he has to. He likes you. He enjoys you and adores you. If you could let that in for just a moment, of course, you would be changed. And not only that. Stephanie, if you could really feel it, you couldnt keep it in. You couldnt contain it. I know we have a broken world. There is a lot and i have those questions. By the way, there are no satisfactory answers, not in this life. One thing i realized, if we could dip in and feel this love of god that is so profound and meaningful and so specific to us, we couldnt contain it. We would start to spread it around. It would start to show up in our relationships. And one by one, well, maybe the world would change a little bit. Wow. And my last question because i think in this time of hopelessness, what is it that gives you faith . Faith is a leap. I do not think that it is antiindividual. I think if you can make that initial leap of faith, youll find that your mind, heart, brain are stimulated. And it is a leap and i write about this. They have thought what if we find out that none of it was true . And that i grew attached to it or it was a crutch or some feeling i got with some good music. Well, what i decided a while back was i dont care. I would rather spend my life hopeful and end up wrong than spend my life hopeless and be right. It is a better way to be and no one knows the answer. And so that is a message that we need more than ever right now. I love and appreciate you. I love you. Thank you so much. Thank you. Dont go anywhere. When we return, it is time for our mvps of the week when our nightcap on the 11th hour continues. Why choose a sleep number smart bed . Can it keep me warm when im cold . Were going to let her start the last segment too. What is yours . My mvp is the vice president. You know, she takes so much and especially this whole biden should drop out news cycle, which i hated and never believed. And was furious with even who said. She got a lot of flak too. I was like okay, here is this woman. Shes the highest elected woman in our country ever, and shes a woman of color, and shes been great. Shes out there on the road talking about reproductive health. Shes at hbcus, and the crowd is going crazy. You know, she is really i just think she is subjected to so much sexism and so much racism. And i feel like i hate it and she is my mvp. Maya . What she said, but my mvp. [ laughter ] it is betty may who was the guest, one of the guests at the state of the union. But the thing about betty may is she was a member of student nonviolent coordinating committee. We should talk about john lewis. And it is of this world that make the Civil Rights Movement what it is. And as a 16yearold told to go to the grocery store, dont stop at that meeting at the church where they are causing trouble. She went to stop at that meeting, went right out on the rally, got arrested, refused to be arrested. Got down on her knees. They had to drag her out of there. Thats where were going in the future. All right. Okay, president s get too much credit and too much blame on the economy for their watch. Parents get too much credit and too much blames for their childrens ups and downs. I would like to give Momma Donna Kelce two big burley successful Football Player boys who cry and love each other and teach everybody that empathy is cool. Im old enough to remember when you didnt cry in sports, you didnt talk about how much you love your family. And i, as a mom of boys, think its great that were raising generations of boys who could cry and show they love their brothers. I love your pick. And i have many mvps because i think the women of france showed us what can be done when you get yourself together. Our audience knows what they did this week. They passed a constitutional amendment. They made it so in france, abortion is constitutionally protected. This is huge. And what i love about this when i was reading about it was the constitutional expert, a woman, by the way. What this does is it corrects the fact that constitutions were Written By Men For men. They were not for women. Yes. They were not for women. This will make it exclusively about women. It was abortion rights. They said it out loud. They did it. They saw what was happening with us and did it. It shows us whats possible. Do you ever think that will happen here . Yes, it can happen. Of course, it can happen. Center because were the majority. Look at the optimism and strength on this table. E yes, thats good. All right, ill give you my mvp. It also comes from the world of sports. You dont know her name. It is linda sinrod. Shes an 83yearold hockey player, look at her in the washington, d. C. Area after Figure Skating in college. She took up hockey when she was in her 30s because, why not . Her son, peter, was just 8 years old when she started playing. He finally remembers thinking gearing up, just hitting the ice is what all moms do. Almost half a century later, Guinness World record declared linda sinrod the oldest hockey player. On this saturday, she will be among the women honored with the puck drop at the capitals game in washington. She says she has no plans to hang up her skates any time soon. By the way, her 8yearold son, peter, he grew up to be a regular on this program. And its peter baker of the new york times. Peter called us as a proud son to tell us the story of this amazing, amazing mother. Isnt that the greatest surprise ever . You actually get the best. Isnt that so good . If i didnt love peter and susan and their son, theo even more, now i love his mom. One last thing that i wanted to share tonight. You might not have noticed. You probably looked at the show like wow, this is a good nightcap. But tonight all of our guests happen to be women. None of them are here to talk about womens issues, not the gender gap, not equality, barely even talking about reproductive rights. They were all here tonight because theyre the absolute best in their field. Talented, smart, extraordinary in every way, and they just happen to be women. And every International Womens day since 2012 since i got into tv, i have been doing this show, a show of all extraordinary women. So that makes 13 very lucky years of an allfemale broadcast on this very day. So i want to thank these incredible, incredible women, christine, mary, maya, molly, thank you all for being here. Savannah who also joined us tonight on this very special International Womens day. Muah. On that fantastic note, i wish you all a very, very good night. And remember, if this wasnt enough, you can also watch the Nightcap Saturdays here at 11 00 p. M. Eastern. But for now from all of our colleagues across the networks of nbc news and a very, very long week we had with you, thanks for staying up late with us tonight. Ill see you monday. Woman 1 she was an amazing mother. Its hard everything that you hopped wouldnt be true. He was an amazing mother
