Right now on ana cabrera reports, israel escalating air strikes on gaza, claiming its hit hundreds of targets in the last 24 hours as israels Defense Minister warns its operation in gaza could last months. Plus, new reporting about hostages held by hamas. The number now stands at 222. What we know about them and the efforts to bring them home. Also ahead in washington, the search for the speaker beginning again on capitol hill. Nine republicans now in the running, but can any of them get enough votes. Returning to court. The new charges that have new jersey senator bob menendez going back before a judge this afternoon. Thanks so much for joivening us. Its 10 00 eastern. Im Ana Cabrera Reporting from new york. Over the last few hours with the idf claiming the have Hit 320 Hamas targets over the last 24 hours. As air strikes continue, a contingent of israeli tanks and troops remain gathered along gazas border with the Israel Defense minister saying the war could take, quote, months. Theres new reporting this morning suggesting the u. S. Is seeking to delay any Ground Invasion. Joining us is nbcs kelly cobiella. The air strikes intensifying, but israel at least for now holding off on a Ground Invasion. What do we know about israels Military Posture at this hour . Reporter so they said repeatedly, the Israeli Government has, that theyre going in on the ground. Late last week we heard that israel will enter a new phase of this war without getting any specifics. Again, repeatedly israeli politicians and other military officials have told troops on the ground where troops have been built up on that border that a Ground Offensive is imminent. We saw overnight intesive air strikes. Israel says those were on hamas positions inside gaza, some 320 strikes on different positions including command centers, rocket, artillery locations, places were rockets were being fired as well. So israel continuing on that vein, but also carrying out these limited raids on the ground. As a matter of fact, local media is reporting today that there was a skirmish on the ground on the other side of the fence with gaza, inside gaza in which one idf soldier was killed, a 19yearold soldier. We havent independently confirmed that. But thats been widely reported in israeli media. You can see now there are these cross Border Attempts at gathering information on hostages as well as preparing the ground for a larger invasion. The big question on everyones mind, and it has been reported by the likes of New York Times and local media here, is whether or not israel is indeed holding off on a Ground Invasion to allow for more hostages to be brought out, to allow for some of these Hostage Negotiations to bear fruit. We dont have any confirmation, probably wouldnt hear any confirmation like that from the Israeli Government. The bottom line, no Ground Offensive yet. And two, european leaders heading into leaders in the next day and two days. We do know that, a lot of the european leaders as well as Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu spoke with President Biden over the weekend. The pope also speaking with President Biden about whats happening in this israelhamas war. As we look at live pictures, this is a view from southern israel looking into gaza. You see that smoke rising as those air strikes continue by the Israeli Defense forces. Kelly cobiella, thank you so much for your reporting. Today were learning more about the hostages held by hamas with the Israeli Military now confirming the number of confirmed hostages has grown to 222. Nbcs chief International Correspondent keir simmons is tracking the latest on this. Keir. Good day to you. Nbc news has new details of the daily highstakes diplomacy to try to free hostages even as israel says its overnight raids into gaza were an effort to locate them. The talks a race against time with israel still talking of a Ground Invasion. Overnight, desperate families meeting with the israeli president with little news at what israel this morning now says are at least 222 hostages, including 20 children being held by hamas. Three days ago americans judith and Natalie Raanan were released. A diplomat with knowledge of the talks describing to nbc news intense, daily dialogue with many ups and downs. How did it feel when you learned two american hostages okay. All my body was like this. I was shaking. Reporter the family of annan alexander, a new Jersey High School graduate serving as an Israeli Defense force soldier. I just hope that they will bring him home and my soul will come back to me. Reporter the small gulf nation, qatar, is mediating the hostage crisis, talking directly to both hamas and israel were told. Those conversations gained momentum after secretary blinken visited Qatar On October 13th but went quiet after the Gaza Hospital Explosion days later. Now what the diplomat with knowledge of the talks calls an olive branch, the release of judith and Natalie Raanan. Then the first trucks of food and supplies into gaza. This morning israel warning a full Ground Invasion is coming, the need to free the hostages, ten of them u. S. Citizens, oppressing diplomatic priority. The diplomat we spoke to says the israelis are not willing to talk until all the hostages are released, but said if hamas did release the hostages, it might lead to dialogue or mediation. Keir simmons, thank you. Joining us is former ambassador to morocco and 230r78er president ial advisor for the middle east, Mark Ginsburg. Also a navy in the reserves who specializes in israels challenges along the northern border. Great to have both of you with us this morning. Ambassador, lots of things happening, a troop build up, efforts to free hostages, now we have aid going into gaza. The New York Times reporting that the Biden Administration is advising to delay it, to allow more aid to reach palestinians. How much sway would the u. S. Have in this situation . I think enormous sway. The president has been talking regularly to Prime Minister netanyahu. Its clear that not only american hostages are being held, but israeli hostages. The israelis have a limited time here because the longer that this Ground Invasion is delayed, the longer it makes it difficult for israel to claim its been able to eliminate it and decapitate hamas. For israel domestically the pressure is mounting to get this job done already. Seret, the big focus now is rescuing the hostages who could be anywhere in gaza, including the underground tunnels weve heard about, described as a soldiers nightmare. One person who has been in the tunnels said it was like being unde water, night vision goggles dont work, soldiers have to bring their own respiratory supply, respirators and masks. These tunnels sound incredibly complex. They could have booby traps. How is israel planning to deal with this . Israel has been preparing to deal with it for many years because we have known the infrastructure of tunnels and using underground warfare for many, many years, also from lebanon. The idea to be fully prepared for these scenarios. Were not surprised by anything youve said. Im surprised for the finding, hamas releasing two hostages out of 222 is an olive branch. I cannot accept defining anything hamas is doing as an olive branch after 1400 israelis were massacred brutally. Weve soon an uptick in violence on the Northern Gorder with the idf forces exchanging fire with hezbollah which has been Firing Rockets from lebanon. Israel has evacuated over 100,000 of its citizens near the border of gaza and lebanon. How real is this threat, serit, that this becomes a multifront war . Im talking to you 12 kilometers from the israel lebanese border. I live in this area. We feel threatened. We feel that hezbollah is preparing for its invasion because hezbollah every day launched antitank missiles against idf positions and civilians on the border. We dont feel that hezbollah is in a dilemma. Hezbollah is a partner to this hamas plan, and he will try to execute his plan whenever he is capable of doing so, dragging israel into war. This is what happened in the last year. I saw hezbollah on the border every day. They were watching me all the time. They were watching idf soldiers all the time. So it was fully prepared. A decade ago hezbollah probably an operational offensive plan, similar to the plan that was finally executed by hamas including the plan to kidnap hostages and use them as human shields. Its the same plan. Thats really terrifying to think about. Ambassador, we know the u. S. Is stepping up its presence in the region concerned about a wider conflict. I cant help but wonder if hezbollah is simply waiting for the idf forces to go into gaza to then strike in its own way. What do you think . I think thats a very well thought out proposition by you. The fact is the majority of Israeli Forces are down south. I know that border area extraordinarily well because my family helped found one of those kibbutz seem. One thing hezbollah and iran have to take into account is two Carrier Task Force groups off the coast of the mediterranean from the United States. The United States is not going to let israel be attacked without a u. S. Response, im quite confident of that. More importantly, its very important that we understand its not just from lebanon that this hezbollah attack could occur. It also could be occurring from syria. That raises a whole other host of questions. Because while hezbollah doesnt have a major presence in syria. It does have a significant presence, and there are russian foes in syria. So the United States and israel may find itself almost check mated in attacking syria because of Russian Forces there. Wow, all things to watch in the hours and days ahead. Ambassador Mark Ginsburg and serit, thank you for offering your expertise and insights. When were back in 60 seconds, the toll of israels Bombardment Inside Gaza including new concerns about fuel and humanitarian aid. Also ahead, the search for a speaker. More on the nine House Republicans now vying for the gavel, plus what one former gop speaker is saying about the lack of women on this list. Later, Detroit Police urging calm after the leading of a synagogue was found stabbed to Death Outside her home. Were back in just one minute. Were back in stju one minute. Im kareem abdul jabbar. I was diagnosed with afib. The first inkling that something was wrong was i started to notice that i couldnt do things without losing my breath. I couldnt make it through the airport, and every like 20 or 30 yards i had to sit down and get my breath. Every Physical Exertion seemed to exhaust me. And finally, i went to the hospital where i was diagnosed with afib. When i first noticed symptoms, which kept coming and going, i should have gone to the doctor and told them what was happening. Instead, i tried to let it pass. If you experience irregular heartbeat, heart racing, chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, or lightheadedness, you should talk to your doctor. Afib increases the risk of stroke about 5 times i want my experience to help others understand the symptoms of atrial fibrillation. When it comes to your health, this is no time to wait. We have new video out of gaza after israel stepped up its bombardment overnight. Officials in gaza claiming at least 30 were killed after a bombing at a refugee camp in northern gaza. The idf has yet to comment on those claims and netflix news has not verified that information. This all comes after another round of desperatelyneeded aid has crossed into gaza from that rafah Border Crossing with egypt. With both food, fuel and other lifesaving resources running low, the question is whether this aid thats arriving is anywhere near enough. Nbcs jay gray is joining us now from tel aviv, israel. Also with us, Foreign Policy analyst rula jabrill. Jay, the death toll in gaza is climbing. Gaza Officials Say 12 hospitals and 32 Health Centers are out of service because of the air strikes and the lack of fuel they need to keep powered. Where do things stand in gaza at this hour . Reporter as dire as theyve been, ana. Good to talk to you this morning. I can tell you the Ministry Of Health for hamas has said in the steppedup Air Attraction theyve seen overnight theyve seen over 400 People Killed in the overnight time. 182 of those were children. You talked about the hospitals and Health Centers that have been closed down. Of those still operating the u. N. Says they have about two days of fuel supply left, and then all of the hospitals in gaza will be shut down. As you know, weve seen trucks rolling in with food, water, medicine. What theyre not carrying is fuel. The israeli teams are on the border and inspecting each of these trucks. Theyve made it expressly clear no fuel is getting into gaza during this war. We know there are Operating Theaters right now and Operating Hospitals where doctors are using the lights from their cell phones to conduct surgeries. Thats all they have to illuminate whats going on during their life saving surgeries there. We know from the idf that the air strikes will continue at a steppedup pace. Theyre clearing the way for some type of ground assault. We know 320 Military Targets were hit overnight including tunnels, including Operational Command centers according to idf. As you talk about, some civilian areas damaged as well. So the situation is getting much worse on the ground, and with these Obstruction Of Justice moving in, the u. N. Says thats about 4 of the supplies that were normally going into the area every day before the war. Wow. That puts a lot in perspective for us. Jay gray, thank you for that update. So rula, our understanding is only a few dozen trucks have made it in with supplies so far. The u. N. Saying it needs 100 trucks a day to get supplies to those who needed. 500 a day. Perhaps more. Youre probably more, given how many more people are in need than original. Its sparse for them on a good day, right . Is it really possible to get whats needed inside gaza especially, as all indications appear, theres still an imminent Ground Invasion going . This depends on israel, israel according to International Law is the occupying power. Its up to them to decide if these people die by starvation and thirst. This is International Law. These are not my opinions, these are facts. Gaza needs now 7,000 trucks. For the last 16 days theyve been under crippling siege. Theres no water, no electricity, no food. Before this invasion and before this war gaza was considered, that 50 were below poverty line. They didnt have access to proper food. Before this war 90 didnt have clean water. Now we know children, and according to human rights organizations, children are Drinking Water unfit for human consumption. Also, the indifference, our leaders are telling the world, look, not only were dehumanized, were watching more crimes be committed, and the International Committee are basically slugging their shoulders saying never mind. This is being used today by china and russia to say, you see, International Law is obsolete, it doesnt matter. Its optional. This is very dangerous for americas standing in the world, not just israelis, americas own standing in the world. It is truly heartbreaking to hear what is happening and to see some of the images coming out of gaza right now with the innocent civilians suffering so, so badly. I wonder if there is more that can be done. What can be done by regional partners to get people inside gaza the aid that they need . Regional partners have no power. The only power that is capable or willing or unwilling to do it is the United States and israel. Egypt and jordan are both saying they dont Want Refugees thats not accurate. Again, they have millions of palestinians that live already there. Israel what israel is doing is trying to tell them, basically, you need to bail us out. According to International Law, not even to egypt or jordan, its incumbent on the occupying power to save civilians and not to create a Refugee Crisis and expel them in perpetuity, forever. If we look at israeli policies, according to what theyre saying in words and deeds, they dont want them there forever. They want to expel them, millions of palestinians. This is according, not even to me, to International Law and to the international community, to the arab league and others, this is ethnic cleansing. The fact that President Biden didnt even manage to get 20 trucks into gaza, it tells you that theres no pressure whatsoever in israel to do anything. These people are going to die in masses. Gaza is becoming a graveyard. Those 20 trucks did get in. Just, i wonder, if i could ask, what happens after israel goes in, they say they want to wipe out hamas. If they are successful in doing that, whats next . Can you envision gaza without hamas there . What would that look like . Whats the realistic theme ill tell you what this will look like. We all remember what Fall Luge Gentleman was and what mosul was. Those two wars, doortodoor, street to street were already a bloodbath, a Slaughter House. If youre looking at gaza, 2. 3 Million People. If hamas is 50,000, you have 2 Million People in the smallest strip of land, the most populated, the most impoverished and this is when you will lead a Ground Invasion on top of aerial bombardment, carpet bombing. This will become basically, you know, a Slaughter House beyond our imagination. A carnage, a real carnage. At that moment i think both the United States and israel will use international support. Theyre already seeing people around the region telling us this will create mass radicalization. You remember donald trump, who asked himself after the invasion, our policy creating more extremists, are they creating less extremists. General petraeus, when he led the surge in iraq, how did he reduce the attacks from 50 to zero. There were 50 attacks in iraq during the surge. He separated the civilians from the militants, ended their subjugation by the sunni. He involved them in the political process and this is when basically al qaeda ended in iraq, when they kid zarkawi. If we dont learn from that now, well find america in another war in the region. This is not only plausible, this is highly probable. I think we need to tell the truth about this because the war is seeing it coming and americans are delusional about it. I talk to our diplomats, and they tell me the discourse in america is totally detached. They dont understand their region. They dont understand the rest. Theres so much for us all to learn about this. Thank you. I hope we will not be watching hundreds of thousands of people being killed before we learn. Rula jabrill, thank you for being here. I appreciate you. Up next, gavel gridlock as House Republicans scramble to find a new speaker. Can any of the nine vying for the job get the votes to secure it. Were back with the latest this morning on capitol hill where the search for the next House Speaker is beginning again. House republicans will meet for a Candidate Forum this evening with these nine republicans now vying for the job. Former speaker designee jim jordan dropped out of the running on friday after he lost a third floor vote. Lets go to the hill and nbcs ali vitali. Also with us, former republican congressman Carlos Curbelo. Ali, if you will, walk us through what the next 24 hours might look like . Reporter its going to be a lengthy process, ana. Theres a lot of faces and a lot of names on that graphic you just put on the screen. A lot of members of the House Republican conference woeshg up this morning, looked in the mirror and saw the next House Speaker. Whether or not theyll be able to get there will require them to, a, start tonight by pitching themselves in front of the entire republican conference. Its going to be a q a style, Behind Closed Doors talking to the people whose votes they hope to earn. Then youll move on to tomorrow morning. This is where the lengthy and potentially convoluted process starts. Theyll once again go Behind Closed Doors and voted by secret balance. The difference between doing it tomorrow and the way weve seen it in the past is its not just two names on the ballot to choose between. Now theyre choosing between nine which means this is a much lengthier process because with each round, whoever gets the least number of votes in the room is going to drop out and that means they have at least one less candidate to consider during each balloting round. This process ends whenever someone gets the majority of the votes in the room. Were not sure what the exact number is going to be, but around 220 republicans are expected to be in the room tomorrow voting by Secret Ballot. At whatever point someone gets that magic majority, then theyre the person who is next to go to the floor. Theyre the next Speaker Designate. That title has not fared well for the last two men who held it, Steve Scalise and jim jordan. Republicans are hoping now after multiple weeks and times of failure, they can get a speaker. Congressman, nine thats a huge number now in the running. We showed their faces. Whats your reaction to just how many people have thrown their names into the ring . Well, ana, this is historic and its remarkable. It speaks to the vacuum of power that has been left right in the middle of the House Republican conference. Typically these races f leadership, theres two, maybe three candidates. A lot of times people run unopposed because they have so much support within their respective caucuses. This shows you how unstable the House Republican conference is right now. It shows you that really there is no leadership structure, that this is a wideopen race. Sure, a lot of people are saying tom emmer might be the slight favorite because hes currently the whip. He has an organization. Really anything can happen. The big question will be whoever emerges from this republican conclave on tuesday, will a sufficient number of republicans hold, stay with them, join them, so that they can get the requisite 217 votes . It has not been a problem, as ali said for republicans to peak a Speaker Designate. Its been a problem for that person to get enough support from the conference on the floor of the house. Ali, is there any indication that one of these nine is a frontrunner who can actually get the vote . Reporter well see. There are efforts under way now to fix a problem thats plagued the last few rounds of this, which is people voting Behind Closed Doors and on a Secret Ballot one way and changing the way they vote on the floor or voting one way in a public ballot and changing it on the second or third. Thats something republicans are trying to avoid for whoever the next Speaker Designate is by having a pledge be circulated. Congressman flood is leading this charge. The pledge says, hey, im going to vote for whoever i vote for Behind Closed DoorsBehind Closed Doors and keep voting for the Speaker Designate until theyre not Speaker Designate anymore. It could solve one of the big problems that has plagued this process. Ive heard from at least one republican member who said n way, im not going to sign that. It speaks to the divide we were talking about, the idea that there are so Many Republican factions within this conference, that not all of them could get behind someone, for example, like tom emmer. Maybe they have disagreements with them over the ways he voted to certify the 2020 election results. Thats an important thing to point out here. Only two of the nine candidates on this list, emmer and austin scott votedo certify the 2020 election results. The rest of them voted to decertify and continue the idea of the big lie even after january 6th. I think thats a really important thing to note. Again, it speaks to where the republican conference is now that the majority of the people theyre putting forward for this job, to put them in the president ial line of succession voted to decertify the 2020 election results. Lets put those pictures back up. One thing youll notice when you look at all the candidates in the running, its not a very diverse group. Yesterday former speaker Newt Gingrich suggested that may be part of the problem. Take a look. I think in some ways, given the level of rowdiness and the level of juvenile behavior, its conceivable that a female speaker would be more effective in actually getting them all to get together and stick together. So congressman, why no women in the running . What does the current poll of candidates tell you about the Republican Caucus . Ana, a lot of people have looked to elise stefanik. Shes kept a very low profile in all of this. Shes been waiting to see how this all shakes out. Theres a lot of republicans like her, like Patrick Mchenry who could aspire to leadership, who see the chaos in the conferce and say no thanks, let someone else take this job. Thats really dissuading people. Theres a Record Number of hispanic in the House Republican conference. None of them have stepped forward. I think a lot of people are really concerned that this is a miserable job, even if theyre able to get those 217 votes on the floor. What happens when someone files a motion to vaca . What happens when members of your own party take down a rule . This is a very unattractive job. Its not nearly as powerful as it has been in the past. Look at kevin mccarthy. He was able to get the vote after giving many concessions, and his speaker shim ended up being one of the shortest in history. So you can understand why a lot of people arent taking a step forward, but sure, it would be much better if there was a more diverse set of candidates running for this job. Just looking at that video, that was Patrick Mchenry. She was the interim speaker, still is technically. He didnt throw his hat in the ring. Former congressman Carlos Curbelo and ali vitali, got to leave it there, guys. Good to have you. Much more to discuss on this issue as we continue through the week. This afternoon new jersey senator bob menendez is heading back to court for his arraignment on new charges of acting as a Foreign Agent. Menendez could face up to two years in prison for these charges which come just one month after he and his wife pleaded not guilty to separate bribery charges. Lets bring in nbc news correspondent Antonia Hylton outside the courthouse for us. The senator has denied all these allegations. What can we expect today in court . Reporter good morning, ana. What we expect is about 3 00 p. M. Thisnoon Senator Menendez will come here and plead not guilty to these conspiracyrelated charges. Prosecutors are alleging he provided sensitive u. S. Government information to the Egyptian Government and he also essentially acted as a Foreign Agent on their behalf which would, of course, be illegal. Not only was he a sitting senator, but he was also the chair of the Senate Foreign relations committee, something that is outraging both his stints and his colleagues in the senate. In the face of all this, as you mentioned, he maintained his innocence, said hes going to prove that hes innocent on all these charges and all the allegations around bribery. For anyone who needs a refresher on that, about a month ago, the first layer of charges we saw here allege that he essentially was trading favors in exchange for favors with Egyptian Government officials, but also businessmen inew jersey, that he was receiving hdreds of thousands of dollars, expensive Exercise Equipment and gold bars, among other things. We expect to see the trial come in about may. In the meantime, hes facing serious questions from the people he serves and the people he works with. Ana. Antonia hylton, thank you very much. Now to new developments in several of former president Donald Trumps legal cases. Trumps former attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen, is set to testify this week in the new york Civil Fraud Trial into trumps business empire. This after trump was just fined 5,000 for violating the judges gag order in this trial while hes trying to freeze another gag order in the federal election interference case. Lets bring in nbc legal analyst and criminal defense attorney danny cevallos. First, Michael Cohen set to take the stand. How significant can his testimony be . Hes given several previews of the information he can provide, to congress, in his book, in many interviews. We expect the state will use Michael Cohen mostly to introduce documents, to authenticate them, provide some narrative. Of course Michael Cohen, the defense, the trump team, this is someone who is a convicted liar, you shouldnt believe him. If hes authenticating documents and the documents speak for themselves, thats going to be very effective testimony. Essentially we already know hes going to argue excuse me give evidence that trump inflated artificially the value of his assets when he did things like apply for better insurance rates or other things that benefited trump. Trying to get loansthat. Loans, yes. Lets talk about this Gag Order Issue because trump apparently violated the gag order in that Civil Fraud Trial, and now his lawyers are trying to freeze the gag order in the federal elections interference case. Again, this is not a full gag order, so can you remind us of sort of the parameters and why do you think trump is being so defiant . Gag orders create a balancing between a Right To A Fair Trial and protecting people like witnesses, and of course the defendants First Amendment right to speak. And when it comes to political speech, that is the most cherished speech in our constitutional system. So the judge, any judge would have a really difficult task in deciding how to thread the needle of a gag order that protects both of those interests adequately. The trump team says the judge here went too far and gagged trump in a way that is both prior restraint, in other words preventing what someone says in advance of speaking and. Trumps georgia case is also potentially getting interesting. Weve seen backtoback guilty pleas from a couple of his codefendants, the latest being kenneth chesebro. Heres what chesebros attorney said here on msnbc just this weekend. Take a listen. I want to make something clear, he did not implicate anyone else. He implicated himself in that particular charge. Someone asked me earlier if you were donald trump, would you be worried . And i could personally honestly answer no. Thats interesting because we know chesebro pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge, so could other defendants be impacted . Could donald trump personally be affected . Yes, not only that, hes also agreed to cooperate, provide information and evidence, and the state wouldnt be interested in that unless chesebro had information and evidence that they wanted to use in a case against the other defendants. No surprise there. This is a gamble by the state. Look at all those codefendants. They certainly knew took the chance that some of them would come in early to plead guilty, and they could use those defendants. But it does raise the question, if the state still needed cooperation from these defendants, why did they indict in the first place . How badly did they need these defendants or did they not need them at all . Well see, thank you so much, danny as always. Up next here on ana cabrera reports, the u. S. Any signs of what could come next . Reporter yeah, well, right along the border here, this is the focus of concern, not just for israel but also for washington and other major capitals because this is where the rubber meets the road when it comes to irans influence in the middle east. This is hezbollah territory. Hezbollah has been firing across the border into israel. You can see over that ridge behind me, and the israelis have been responding and just today we heard that another hezbollah fighter had been killed. That brings the total over the past two weeks of hezbollah fighters killed along that border to 28. We also heard that three israelis had been injured in a hezbollah rocket attack, this according to the idf. So were hearing and were seeing this increase in the tempo and the fer rosty in fighting. We just heard yesterday israeli Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu he was at the border speaking with soldiers who, again, its not like the situation in gaza or in southeastern or excuse me southwestern israel where the fighting has been pierce and where theyre preparing for a massive Ground Invasion here. Its a lot more subdued, but the potential is so much greater, which is why Benjamin Netanyahu made that visit. Heres what he said while he was addressing those soldiers. Wlap s. Wlap reporter so he made a reference to the second lebanon war. This is something that everybodys talking about here. Back in 2006, that was the last time that hezbollah and israel went to war, and it was a fullon war, not like the skirmishes that were seeing now. It almost brought lebanon totally to its knees. Thats why we heard from the Idf Spokesperson just yesterday as well giving a briefing. He made an interesting illusion. He said that if lebanon treasures its prosperity and sovereignty, it shouldnt let hezbollah take it into war. Those are the things that israel could attack if it decides to go hog wild and fight against hezbollah here. It will raid this country and bring it almost to its knees. Ana.
