Learned that several u. S. Citizens among those dead in israel, that is according to a National Security council spokesperson. They say they are continuing to monitor the situation closely, and the State Department is ready to provide assistance to any u. S. Citizens still in the country. Right now, at least 700 israelis are dead, 2300 injured according to israeli officials. The Palestinian Health Ministry Says their death fulsome that more than 400 without least 2300 injured. Israel has come from that forces have taken both military and non military israeli captives. Israeli media says that number is actually at least 100, and includes, women, children and the elderly. Earlier today Family Members of some of those taken by hamas held a Press Conference where they shared their stories, and pleaded for help. Heres one woman 23 old it was a back to saturday night. She called us and said mom, they shot at us, we cannot drive, everybody here is there were four kids and everybody is 30, everybody was shot. They were bleeding. She was talking to me, even saying mom, we dont know what to do, and i am saying called me, we love you, it is okay, we are trying to find a way to take you out. We are sending people, and i know im lying because they dont have answers and we dont have any answers. U. S. Officials say they are looking into reports that americans may be among those being held. A spokesperson has confirmed reports of unaccounted u. S. Citizens in israel, but cannot confirm that they are being held by hamas in gaza. Throughout the day airstrikes continue to rain down on gaza city turning several residential buildings into rubble. Some living to the Israeli Border have already begun to flee, fearing that Israeli Ground invasion could be imminent. The situation escalating even further on sunday, lebanon has billet Militant Group an ally of dozens of rockets and at a disputed area along israels border with lebanon. Israels military responded by firing back, but there were no casualties as of now, as we enter the third day of violence, this much is clear. It is just the beginning of Benjamin Netanyahu warning to a long and difficult war to come. Lets go live to our reporters across the region, as well as host of msnbcs velshi joins us from neighboring jordan. Nbc news Foreign Correspondent matt bradley is then lebanon, and Aaron Gilchrist is live for us at the white house. Erin, i will start with, you even some of the developments we have learned today about the presence of americans among those who have been killed as well as the possibility that americans are missing, and how if at all that changes in the american response and the american calculation Going Forward, have we heard any comment on how this might impact the decisionmaking. Well from the very beginning, the effort from the white house and the National Security team has been to try and get their arms around just the magnitude of the situation, and today the Secretary Of State Antony Blinken indicated earlier this morning that they were trying to verify whether there were americans who had been, killed u. S. The dozens who had been killed in israel, or whether they were u. S. Citizens being held hostage there. This evening, we were able to learn from the and israel, we do not have a hard number on that at this, point that is something that the National Security team is still working to develop to get that information confirmed. Then, to reach out to the israel, relay that information, as far as we know the israeli ambassador indicated earlier today, there were american hostages among those being held by the hamas. At this point, we understand from National Security council there are people who are unaccounted for at this hour. As you might imagine, there are still people developing with the intelligence, the Israeli Intelligence community, diplomatic, Community Military community to try and get a better understanding of the magnitude of the deaths and folks injured, as well as the people being held hostage as the situation develops. You know, ayman, this is something that is still very much in the early stages. Aaron has the administration expressed any concern about the operation undergoing or underway now in gaza still, but is there any concern amount the how the oppression lasts for given some of the humanitarian concerns we have been talking about . It hasnt been a point of great discussion outside of the president s team. We did not have realtime responses as to what they are talking about in those discussions, but at this point we do know that there is faith that the israelis are going to be able to mount a strong response to the initial attack there, and that the u. S. Is looking to support the israelis in whatever way may be necessary. The president indicating yesterday in his remarks he was good to make sure that if the israeli people, citizens needed help, that there would be that available. We learned today that the u. S. Is now offering a show of support, the Department Of Defense moving the uss gerald ford strike group, the entire group several thousand sailors into the Eastern Mediterranean closer to israel as a show of support. At this one it is yet to be seen whether the military apparatus is going to be engaged to any sort of use, we also know the Department Of Defense is going to be sending additional munitions, and weapons to israel to aid in whatever effort to decides to execute in the gaza strip. Matt bradley, the Significant Development today is something Security Officials and certainly israeli american officials in the region are watching. The possibility of another front opening. Today there was concern of that situation where there was an exchange of rocket fire between israel and hezbollah. Give us an update on how tense the situation in Southern Lebanon is right now at this hour, and whether or not there are any indications that hezbollah is willing to engage israel in confrontation at this moment. This is something with lots of anxiety, everybody was focused on gaza and israel when this whole thing broke off on sunday morning, but a lot of folks are looking to here in lebanon and hezbollah, wondering what they would do next. That anxiety was shared even in the white house, the National Security adviser telling our own jim psaki earlier today about that. Heres what he had to say. We are much more concerned about going to the second part of your, question is what role iran or its proxies like hezbollah are going to play Going Forward. I think you heard in the president s remarks yesterday, a very carefully worded statement that goes against any party hostile to israel taking advantage to the situation. That very much goals for our concerns about the possibility of a second front emerging from Southern Lebanon. So, why are we worried about hezbollah . Hezbollah is an organization, an entity, a political, body a Militant Group that is kind of like hamas. We heard about it engages in sustained muscular attacks against israel, it has been doing so for the decades. So when we talk about the wider region, what we are trying to gauge whether or not this whole thing is going to metastasize outside of the borders of gaza and israel, hezbollah is a good indicator. We have already seen some sightings of hezbollahs going to do. You mentioned today the crossfire, the exchange of fire over the border that separates lebanon and israel, that was pretty limited. You mentioned there was artillery fire, guided missiles that were shot by hezbollah into the and that is a disputed area partly own artillery and rocket or missile strikes. It kind of ended their. That is important, because you can kind of file this, man, under something that is remarkable for not being remarkable. This is very much the entanglements between has blown israel, they kind of follow a choreographed script. So far we havent seen any of the parties dvd from that choreographed dance. Theyre playing their roles. We saw this exchange of fire, no escalation beyond that. Hezbollah is perfectly capable of watching missiles loyal into israeli territory. The israelis are perfectly capable of Launching Missiles that hezbollah targets inside lebanon. Neither of those things happen, instead, we saw what looked like no loss of life, or few injuries, a little escalation. Even hezbollah came out and said, this was just an act of solidarity, an expression of support for hamas. It wasnt some grand military incursion. You could call this the Combat Equivalent of taking off a voting ballot, or raising your hand in support. It did not go into a full scale war. We havent seen it into me tween when it did happen, it was a blistering, and it was awful. Especially for residents and civilians who paid a huge price. But at least for now, both sides are not going to be escalating, but that could change at anytime. Really, it depends a lot on what iran says, and how israel reacts to the current evolving situation right now inside the gaza strip and on its borders in israel proper. Ali velshi, you are in jordan, a particularly unique country given the fact it is one of the few ever countries that has a peace treaty with israel. It is also a very close american ally. A lot of Security Cooperation between the jordanians and the United States. But it also has a sizable palestinian population, it has been in many ways that the front lines of what happens between israel and the palestinians over decades. Why is this that the minute you get broadly speaking from jordanians, and certainly the era of what has that been mentioned spread over the past 48 hours . Well, as both of you know very well, lebanon and jordan are the countries that after the israel took over the large number of refugees. There are still places in lebanon and jordan that our camps, referred to as camps. Refugee camps. They built up over the, years they have streets and lights, but the majority of people in jordan are palestinians. The queen of jordan is a palestinian. The majority of the working people in jordan are palestinians. Many of them working and substandard jobs living in substandard housing. So when things like this happen between israel and palestine, or israel and gaza, Everything Heats up here in jordan for number of reasons. Jordan always worries about its population growth, and escapism syria, and they worry about, theyre and their economy, it is nowhere close to as bad as things are in lebanon where him is. This is a much more developed in advance and prosperous country. There is a lot of unrest in the streets, as matt ed, theres a lot of conflict among the countries and where they are coming down on whether it is israel, or hamas, or both the blame for this and that is where the distinction comes in. When we talk about Jared Kushner and trump negotiated, those were Trade Alliances with saudi arabia and the emirates. Those were not things that there were no palestinians involved in that, no palestinians at the table. No help orator prosperity came to palestinians as a result. So there is a very level of frustration around the arab world, but particularly in those places that are dominated by palestinians, and this is absolutely one of them. It is the topic that everybody has to talk about. If i were to walk out right now, walk out and find a swarm of police or something, chances are the proprietors palestinian. It might even be the son or daughter of a palestinian. So people are on edge, youre very worried about, this you are right Security Alliances and the United States, have a strong ally, also has normalized relations with israel, also is in charge of the area in israel that hamas started this fight over. It is the in a series of complicated arrangements, jordan is actually the administrator and keeper of the holiest site in jerusalem. So they have a hand in this. They have a role in the conversation between the president king of jordan to try and contain the situation. I will tell you as the sun gets ready to rise, among, hasse israel has that it is conducting airstrikes in the area of the you know that gaza city is about two miles from the border between gaza city and the border with israel is this beach camp. They have leveled a mom where an evil commander was hold up. We dont know what the outcome of that is, but there are reports of the people trapped under the rubble. I only tell you that, because the ground part of this war has not begun. Phase three of this has not begun. Phase one was fighting what happened on friday night into saturday. Phase two was what has been going on today and airstrikes. Phase three is if the israelis go into gaza, we are not close to that, yet but as matt, as this could happen at any moment and that is where everyone is worried about. I think that will become clear as americans and israelis get a better picture of where these hostages are inside the gaza strip and to what extent they are going to Mountain Operation and rescue them or tried to bring hamas to the negotiating table. Ali velshi, thank you much to the three of you for starting us off this hour. Coming up, im Street On Democratic congressman susan wild, a member of the house one Affairs Committee about u. S. She also reiterated the Biden Administration support of his real after the Defense Department announced it was sending Additional Resources to the country. Im joined now by democratic congresswoman of pennsylvania, a member of the house foreign Affairs Committee. Congresswoman, thank you so much for making time for us this evening. Do you have a better sense given what has transpired today, as learning that american citizens were killed and the possibility that american citizens have been kidnapped and taken into gaza. Do you have a sense of how that might change our calculation, or possible involvement in the situation . Well, obviously it will change the approach to getting those citizens out of israel once that is confirmed. But i honestly do not think it is going to affect our approach overall to this, because israel is obviously a very significant ally. A large number of americans actually have dual citizenship in israel, and so im not a particularly surprised to learn that there were some particular americans known to be victims. I suspect we are going to find out about more as time goes on. But i do not think that will change the calculus, or the strategy, because i think we are already looking at a very aggressive strategy towards this. What exactly should our strategy be Going Forward . I know yourself and members of congress put out a statement saying our lines with israel is unbreakable, our commitment is Real Security is ironclad. What does that actually look like in terms of tangible policy . What it means is that we are going to do everything we can to make sure that we get back into session in congress which has obviously been interrupted by the events of last week. And, hello kate additional aid supplemental aid for israel. I was very pleased to hear today that the administration and pentagon has announced that we will be sending additional munitions to israel, and moving war ships including Aircraft Carrier closer to israel. That is welcome news. We are going to have to continue to show the u. S. Support for israel, and specifically congress support as you are undoubtedly aware, there has been a lot of acrimony in congress in recent weeks and months about foreign aid and spending in general. I think it is really important for the is really the people of israel to know that we are going to be there for, them that there will be political games played and i think that is the most important thing when congress can do right now is make sure we are showing immunity of purpose, unity in our voting, and that we do not allow israel or what is going on and how to become a divisive issue as so many things are. When you look at what is happening right now in terms of what is happening in the operation, it is to what extent the scope and depth of looks like one israel goes and if it does go into gossip some have suggested with a ground invasion. How concerned are you about the humanitarian crisis that is unfolding there. Is there any concern that israel may overextend or its hand as inside gaza . A man, im always concerned about human turn rights. Im in the foreign Affairs Committee, a Ranking Member of the Global Health and human, rights humanitarian issues are always front and center for me. I also recognize that this is a situation and demands action by the idea and it must go in and attempt those who were hostages, after tell you, this is a hitting home for me. I have been home to israel many times, my adult kids have been to israel on their own, and with other young people, and the slaughter of 260 young people in the desert who were attending a peace fest, and many of them taken away as hostages, the idea that a holocaust survivor is among the hostages, you know unfortunately, the circumstances are such that i do not think hamas has left israel any choice. But, to go in on the ground, and to rescue as many people as possible. Do i hope that it will be with an absolute minimum of loss of civilian life, absolutely. Hamas has no front of the residents of gaza, and they, the residents are going to be very much affected by this, and at the same time i dont think you can possibly minimize him that have been taken over the border of gaza win. This is something congresswoman susan wild, we greatly appreciate you joining us this evening. Thank you. Up next we are going to break down new reporting to potential rules in the on israel. Lets bring in nbc news National Security and Intelligence Analyst mark palmer who served 26 years at the cia. Great to see, again really looking forward to see the conversation with you just because of some new questions on my mind, first obviously, the scale under the attack, the Gorilla Tactics employed, some new reporting today suggesting that iran may have actually played a more intimate role, a tactical role and perhaps even greenlit this operation as early as last week just having served in the cia knowing the intelligence of the situation, what goes into an operation, like this what is your assessment of that reporting . We have u. S. Officials telling nbc news they have not yet seen any evidence, but from your expertise, how do you read it . Well i think this is an incredibly important moment for the intelligence services, not only, israel but also the United States and the, region because there is a report out there, now i believe it was in the Wall Street Journal that states that iran was actually not only paying a supporting role, but wasnt actually greenlit the operation, directed the operation. I think if that can be confirmed, of course right now u. S. Officials have said they did not have that intelligence, but if that is something that israel and the u. S. , the stakes get much higher and compel to iran and come back to the nuances right and critical and we are also dealing with a situation in which there was a stunning Terrorist Attack on israel that Israeli Intelligence services as well as the regional Telegram Services seem to have somehow missed which is really quite extraordinary. And when you think of all the Intelligence Agencies that are operating against the Different Actors here, even if lets say for example egypt is focused on hamas and what comes in and out of the border between gaza and egypt, the focus on iran, and what around us in the, region and israelis are focusing on what happens between iran and lebanon and hezbollah, nothing looked up, nothing was detected in the region at least publicly that we are aware of that would have suggested an operation of this magnitude. How do you explain, or how do you even understand how the most fortified border, the most Sophisticated Technology that israel deployed was reached in a matter of hours . So it is actually unfathomable to me. I served in this, area i worked with the palestinian israeli and Jordan Services during the modern career. I know what they can do. Israel for example Military Intelligence have blanketed gaza with human sources that spy with Communications Intercept too technical means to this into conversations with it is a tiny area. The same thing with egyptians who have contact with hamas. It is almost inconceivable that an attack which was a multi Domain Attack over thousands of operatives that would have taken weeks if not months, or maybe your, finding how this was not picked up. I think there is huge questions have to be asked. Was this and holograms that came in and was discounted and failure of collection or imagination of course is something that is spending about but to study this. As someone who served in the region, it is still incredible to me that this was not picked up. It is one of the greatest intelligence failures i have seen in modern history. If we are to look ahead right, now obviously the big question is about these hostages inside gaza. Any Rescue Operation is going to take place is going to be heavily dependent on the intelligence that israel, the u. S. , and egypt or anyone else can gather about where these hostages, where these hostages are. Give us just an insight into what is happening right now in the intelligence community, and whether or not it is going to be confident in that intelligence given the failure. Right, so i sympathize with the Israeli Intelligence, now because we remember all September 12th of 2000 and, one this is the way we, felt the American Intelligence Community are felt, they are going to have to do three things, first of course is going to help the Israeli Military and hamas operatives in gaza. Number two is as you noted, certainly the location of the hostages. There is going to be an enormous amount of resources put into this. I think theres an announcement today by the Department Of Defense that u. S. Will aid israel in various i think they will on intelligence gathering. But again, this is tough. Hamas has a plan for this. Theres obviously huge networks. And it is going to take an enormous effort to rescue the hostages, both israelis and as we now learned american hostages as. Well i think back to what i have been with the israeli soldier and wait for years, hamas operatives were able to keep him out of sight and hidden away from israeli officials there by constantly keeping him on the move and keeping the people that knew about him to very few and limited operation, making it harder for intelligence to penetrate. Mark, always a, pleasure thank you so, much always appreciate your insights. Thanks. Coming up, new details on the continued push to establish formal diplomatic ties between israel and we will analyze that next. Alyze that next. He hits his mark center stage and is crushed by a baby grand piano. Youre replacing me . Customize and save with liberty bibberty. He doesnt even have a mustache. Only pay for what you need. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Tonight there is speculation that talks among the u. S. Saudi arabia israel are about a potential deal to normalize relations were motivating factor in the hamas attack on israel. Despite the chaos over the last few, days israels ambassador to the United Nations tells nbc news, quote, they do not see any reason for saudi normalization to be off the table. Joining me now to discuss this and, more the executive Vice President of the center for national policy, head of the bulletin Israel Program at the center in Washington Post the. And steven cook, Senior Fellow from middle Eastern African studies that the council on foreign relations. Great have all three of you with us. So lots to break down here, stephen. I thought i would start with you first, and Secretary Of State anthony blinken, saying on his part that he believes that hamas attack was motivated to try and thwart the ties that were being fostered between israel and saudi arabia. What do you think of that . Well, i think it makes some amount of sense. Especially if you accept the argument that the iranians have had a hand here. Iran is a very active recently and those countries that have expressed a desire to normalize with israel. And certainly, hamas would not benefit from that normalization as well. The problem with the argument is, however, we did not have the firm evidence, we have a wealth of circumstantial evidence pointing to the iranian involvement, including statements by hamas themself. But as your previous guest pointed out, until the United States can really confirm that, this remains in the realm of speculation. You see if, there has been this notion by the israeli Prime Minister to try and upend the idea of going out and seeking peace first with the palestinians. One of the things is really Prime Minister prided himself on as he would go to the arab world, make peace with arabs, and then come back and try to make a Peace Agreement of sorts with palestinians, certainly make palestinians more valuable to his vision of what the Peace Agreement looks like. Is that equation upended now . Does that calculus for Israel Change that you cannot ignore the palestinian issue or try to solve it by going around it . Well, the one thing i would say, is the calculus has never been about making peace with arabs. It has been making peace with arab regimes. Oftentimes these are deals that were sealed with arms deals as well, but Public Opinion throughout the region including in states that have moved forward with normalization agreements, with israel remain very much opposed to this. And peace with autocrats squarely remain stable or liable representative a broader trends in the region. I think this idea that there is a new middle east, and it changed situation throughout the region geopolitically is something that we have seen really exposed in the last couple of days. The idea of trying to achieve peace and stability in the region by circumventing the issue of palestine is something that is clearly not possible. I dont think it has ever been possible. I think this issue now has reasserted its sensuality more than anything else. Matt, as we understood it going into the events before this, week saudi arabia was seeking not just the Security Agreement with the United States, but it was also seeking some kind of concession, not clear what that, means but some kind of concession from israel towards the palestinians. That is unlikely to happen right now for israel. Theyre unlikely to meet any of those demands towards the palestinians, even though we did not know what they were before hand. How does that make a relationship between israel and saudi arabia less attainable after this weeks event . Well i think despite the fact that Mohammed Bin Salman really probably does not care that much for the palestinians themselves, i think the statement from the saudi government over the past few days which was notably propellants dineen shows that they remain sensitive to some extent to regional Public Opinion, and certainly saudi Public Opinion. But i want to say couple things about some of the appointee race earlier. First of all the saudi israeli normalization piece of this broader deal that the Biden Administration is trying to broker is going to proceed at its own pace. It is ongoing, it is certainly this last few days, the horrific violence we have, seen or the violence we are going to see carried out against gaza. It could slow it, but i think there are factors driving that between the saudi government and israel. I think it is wrong to refer to the steal a saudi israeli normalization. What this is from the u. S. Perspective is a saudi u. S. Security pact that is being wrapped in a package of saudis really piece to sell it domestically to the last point i make is the timing of, this doesnt have anything to do with saudi israeli normalization. There are more than enough factors and regions within israel of palestine. To determine these events rather than trying to do is a real saudi normalization. What are some of those factors do you think . Well again, the blockade is over a decade old. The occupation is over 50 years old. There is the dynamics, i must constantly been trying to humiliate and mers its opponents to demonstrate that they are the more legitimate voice of palestinian resistance. That is certainly not to defend anything that hamas did as legitimate resistance, violence against civilians, certainly this horrific violence in hostage i think there are internal factors here both between palestinian factions, and between israelis that kinder just as much to explain this as could studies really normalization. So on one hand, stephen, a lot of people are saying certainly within the israeli society, this is their 9 11 moment. And i think for us as americans who lived through both 9 11, and the 20 years afterwards, the disastrous 20 years afterwards of and listened patients in afghanistan and iraq, the return of the tele, man of the rise of ice, that comparison raises a lot of questions as to what israel is about to do next. There is also from an israeli assessment no return to the status quo. They will not return back to what life was like On October 6th given what has just happen, whether or not they can what it was On October 6th. How do you think israel responds to this, and how it shapes the reaching Going Forward . Yes, well, i think in the first place, given the number of casualties 700 plus dead for the israelis, you have to go back 50 years to the october 1973 war to get a number that is just about half of what the israelis are confronting right now. That was all soldiers in 1973. So this is a massive shock to his early society. And one can expect that the government is going to respond to an extraordinary violent way. The Security Cabinet has already directed the idea to destroy essentially hamas. The way in which they are likely to do that is through a very significant operation in the gaza strip that is not going to look like the operations we have seen going back to 2014, or most recently in 2021 not too long after the Biden Administration came into office. It is going to be a very significant and it is clear there is going to be a very significant loss of life in the process. It may be that the number of hostages being held in gaza is going to complicate things for the israelis, but based on the statements, the israelis will not be satisfied without without destroying hamass ability to threaten them and killing and capturing the leadership. What might look different if hamas is in any way engaged in a way that stephen is talking, about a say that because of what israel has done in the past, which is kill these virtual lead of, hamas difficult, militants leaders, Military Wing leaders, they have claimed after 2008, after all of the various operation in 2012 and 20, 14 2021. They had achieved objectives against hamas, but as of now, their capabilities are stunning israel in the last couple of days. Yes, you, know i think its the last two decades or so, there have been approximately 16 Israeli Military operation in gaza. Each one of them aimed at degrading the capabilities of Palestinian Militants and factions on the ground there. Each time we have seen of course that the palestinians continue to develop and extend those capabilities, including in a massive fashion over the last several days as you said, that have shocked the Israeli Security establishment and really dumbfounded intelligence officials around the world. So i think the lesson to take from this is that a Military Solution is not going to be a real fix to this. Without addressing the core of this issue, becho they eliminated the leadership of and said the same thing a few months before that. You know, amen, there are probably palestinian fighters who were involved in this massive operation who are not born in the years when israel was claiming that it had eliminated hamass leaders 20 years ago, 25 years ago. So there really need to be some very difficult questions asked here. I think if the United States is honest in his assessment, it needs to be asking is really leaders as well, how do you think that this could possibly fixed by even more massive bombardment of gaza. I think as was mentioned, we know what we are about to see is going to involve massive destruction, massive civilian casualties and all of it will be done with american backing, and that should raise a lot of serious questions for all of us. All right, gentlemen, do not go anywhere, i wasnt a quick break. I want to get your thoughts on what america should be doing after the break. Stay with us. Lets continue the conversation out with matt and stephen, cook before the break, matt you were talking about the United States in this interview to members of congress, you spent a lot of time on capitol hill. Are we likely to see anything different in terms of how the United States goes forward from here . Beyond the ironclad support that we have seen already for israel security, but are we likely to see anything in the long term or near midterm change in u. S. Foreign policy on this . In the mirror and mid term, unfortunately the answer is no. I think President Biden has made clear all along since the beginning of this administration, and he reiterated in his remarks yesterday, he is standing just with israel. There is a way he, puts it no daylight between the u. S. And israel. Certainly, supporting a country when its defending its citizenss importance totally in the wake of a horrific attack. We saw over the post48 hours, however the United States has been engaged in trying to broker a resolution of its conflict for many years. We are not a neutral actor here. I think partially the reason why we are here is precisely because the United States has protected israel from any consequences for decades of occupation, settlement, colonization, human rights abuses. Once again, that is certainly hamas did at the same time we have to acknowledge that when people find no way to achieve their National Goals or rights through non violence and diplomacy, they will seek other means. Steven, there are some horse saying this was no doubt a tactical victory for hamas, and it was able to capture Israeli Soldiers and inflict the psychological blow and fear and terror. At the same time, they now have achieved a strategic failure. This Israeli Government was embattled, not necessarily one of the most liked Israeli Government here among the american politicians who had a hard time accepting what it was doing with its socalled judicial reforms. Now the International Community is sympathetic to this government. It is going to stand behind it. As we, see give it a greenlight in what it wants to do in gaza. That is precisely what is happening. When you talk to israelis, as i have been doing over the course of the last few days. There is closing of the ranks. There is talk of a National Unity government. It either will or will not but will include the hard right. And, the israelis are going to be given a lot of room to run in order to achieve their goals in the gaza strip. This has now become existential for the israelis. I think we are going to see a Quantum Difference in the way in which they deal with gaza now. They have said the old rules no longer apply. If there were any kind of real rules. So there is a lot of Political Support here for the israelis in the crossfire is going to be a lot of civilians who will get hurt. Final thoughts, you unfortunately dont have a lot of, time barter mentioned the situation getting worse for palestinians, but it seems it will after today. Well, if the past is any indication, we can expect that over the next several days, there will be massive casualties among palestinians in gaza. I would say though, i do not think this is necessarily a strategic victory or failure for anyone, because i think the direction that things are going in is going to be devastating for all parties involved. There is no Military Solution to this. And, if the United States was a friend to israel, in a serious way, to peace and justice, that would be the first thing they would be saying. Gentlemen, im so sorry were out of, time but we will look for to continue this conversation and what i suspect will be days and weeks ahead. Steven, cook thank you to the three of you.
