Air, and see leading to hundreds of deaths, and israels military saying, hamas fires of taken civilians and soldiers hostage. Israel responding with strikes on targets in gaza, throughout the day. And into the night. This new video shows israeli rockets lighting up the sky above gaza city. Gazas Health Ministry says more than 200 people have died in the gaza strip. In washington, President Biden pledged unwavering support to israel, and sent this message to the rest of the world. Israel has the right to defend itself and its people. Full stop. Theres never justification for terrorist attacks. And my administration supports for security in is rocksolid and unwavering. Let me say this as clearly as i can. This is not a moment for any party hostile to israel to exploit these attacks to seek advantage. The world is watching. Whether be no mistake. The United States stands with the state of israel. We have from the moment the United States became the first nation to recognize israel 11 minutes after its founding 75 years ago. In the meantime, israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, declared his nation is at war. And vowed mighty vengeance. A televised address, netanyahu said as really well leash its Military Strength as revenge. Nbcs news foreign correspondent, Ralph Sanchez, is in Southern Israel near the gaza border. Israel tonight is living through a nightmare it cannot seem to wake up from. This Surprise Attack began at six a. M. Local time, it is now past midnight. And this violent, chaotic situation is still unfolding. Hundreds of palestinian militants, early this morning, surging through the border fence into towns and communities across Southern Israel. Squads of palestinian gunmen on the streets, taking hostages, shooting people, engaging in gun battles, with israeli forces. There has been massive loss of life over the course of the day. Israels foreign Ministry Says more than 200 israelis have been killed, although many people suspect that that death toll will rise further still. But beyond the loss of life, there is a Hostage Situation on folding on a scale perhaps unlike anything israel has ever seen before. Israeli Security Officials say, inside of israel, there are still areas where palestinian gunmen are Holding Israelis hostage at gunpoint. They are surrounded at this stage. By Israeli Special forces. But even more complicated than that, israels military says, there are both Israeli Soldiers and civilians who have been taken captive by hamas, Bell Palestine in islamic jihad, and carried over the border into gaza. Where they are being held. And it is the fact that theres Israeli Citizens on the wrong side of the gaza border tonight, that will be weighing so heavily on the minds of israeli decisionmakers, Benjamin Netanyahu on down, as they decide their next moves. The Israeli Military has said, all options are on the table, including a full scale Ground Invasion of gaza. In order to find these Israeli Citizens. And to bring them home. Gaza is one of the most densely populated places on earth. There are 2 million Palestinian Civilians living under the rule of the palestinian militants. Israeli Ground Incursion is likely to lead to massive loss of life. And we are already seeing a very, very significant death toll inside of gaza. The palestinian Health Ministry says, more than 200 people have been killed by israeli airstrikes so far today. It is not clear how many of them are militants. And how many of them are civilians. But, the cost is being paid by ordinary people on both sides here in the holy lands. In this nightmare that no one seems able to wake up from. Back to you. Nbcs Ralph Sanchez reporting from Southern Israel. Join us now, nbc News White House correspondent allie raffa from washington d. C. , and nbcs correspondent Josh Lederman four in warsaw, poland. What are we hearing from the white house tonight . Yeah, alicia, those were very short by very powerful remarks and a very powerful message from the president earlier today during his remarks at the white house. And he did not mince words. As you mentioned, he referred to this attack as, quote, unconscionable. He said it was performed by, quote, terrorists. He shows that the u. S. Is and will continue to be a strong ally and supporter of israel for the long haul. And he says that he vowed to make sure that israel is able to defend itself for as long as it needs, as this unprecedented situation unfolds. He said that that was a focus of his call with Prime Minister netanyahu, these two, of course, sharing a decadeslong relationship, a relationship that sometimes got rocky, but the president assured the American Public and the israeli public that those differences will not get in the way of u. S. Support for israel in the wake of this crisis. Alicia, this is still an all Hands On Deck situation at the white house. We know that the coordination and communication that began in the wee hours this morning between national Security Officials and Biden Administration officials, cabinet secretaries, the president , all of that is continuing now and as white house officials and Senior Administration officials try to get a sense of what the intelligence is on the ground. Try to understand what this is more clearly before making any more specific sport going to look like going forward, in the short term. But, as well as a longterm, alicia. Josh, israeli prime Benjamin Netanyahu promising mighty vengeance for this attack. What we know about the israeli response tonight . And, if you can add the context of the political pressure that netanyahu has been under . Yeah, that political pressure is certainly the backdrop for this response, alicia. Prime minister netanyahu taking and aggressive, militant posture in response to the attacks that we saw today. Hes talking about taking revenge, about destroying hamas. But netanyahu also issuing an ominous warning to civilians in the gaza strip, saying that they should flee immediately, because israel is not going to leave any of the hamas Hiding Grounds in gaza untouched. That is really raising some questions. Because, remember, civilians in gaza have nowhere to go. They are stuck between the mediterranean sea, a heavily armed and guarded border with israel, and a border with egypt, which is close to them. So, they are not able to leave. But obviously, netanyahu has already been under immense political pressure domestically due to the criminal charges against him, due to the precarious nature of his cabinet. And his coalition. And hes facing a lot of questions today about what many israel washers are calling the biggest Intelligence Failure since 1973, since the Yom Kippur War and netanyahu in the coming days is what you have to explain not only how his government seems to have missed this, and been unprepared for what we saw over the last 24 hours or so, but also what israel is going to do to respond to it. Allie raffa in washington d. C. , and Josh Lederman for us in poland. As always, thank you both. Joining me now nbc news chief Foreign Affairs correspondent and msnbc host andrea mitchell. Andrea, we continue to call these attacks unprecedented, but this moment we find ourselves in, the complexity within the region right now, likewise, is unprecedented. Absolutely. Thats such a good question. Because this is a moment where, in fact, the u. S. And israel, and saudi arabia, are talking about what could be if it were to happen on historic deal, a historic deal, with the saudis would recognize israel diplomatically. That would lead to other arab countries joining suit. And the u. S. Is eager to do this is if, as President Biden, im told, told Prime Minister netanyahu in new york in the when they met face to face for the first time, i should point, out since President Biden was elected. If Prime Minister netanyahu would guarantee that part of the deal would not leave the palestinians out, that the socalleds two state solution, that palestinian state, they would still have enough land, contiguous land to have a state. So very much in jeopardy because of Netanyahus Coalition expansion policies of the settlements in the west bank, breaking up what had been palestinian land. So, there is a long way to go on this. Just tonight we are told by a senior official that that is something that still has a lot of work to do, also opposition in the senate to saudi arabia to getting civilian Nuclear Program by the United States. This safeguards on that. That said, there is speculation, and they were asked about it tonight. They said that they dont think that this is an attempt by iran today rail. It but there is a lot of speculation that the timing of this is aimed at derailing something that president raisi overran exclusively told lester holt a month ago in tehran, that iran is very much against and israel, were seeing calls from the white house today from the president , from the Secretary Of State to all of the Major Players in the middle east, and a call just a few hours ago to saudi arabia, by secretary blinken. So, everyone is engaged. The white house is trying the best they can. But right now, hamas, which has historically been armed by iran, basically invaded israel by crossing the border for the first time. They have gone through tunnels before. They have been pushed back. But this time it was a, she, and land. Nothing like this has ever happened before and israel is constrained in its response because they have so many hostages now. Men, women, children. Women who are in the military as well as civilian women. And at that point, israel has always, historically, not done anything that would endanger those citizens. They sent thousands of palestinian back years ago just to get one israeli soldier who had been left behind, in gaza, have been captured in gaza. So, they have an historic commitment to saving israeli lives and israelis whether they are alive or dead from these conflicts. And that is, obviously, going to constrain how they calculate the retaliation, which they all anticipate. Andrea, i wonder what you reporting is telling you about the Intelligence Failure that led to what we have watched transpire in the last 24 hours, and efforts to get intelligence back on track, both within israel and in the United States. That is just kind of mindblowing. Because israel has vaunted Israeli Intelligence program, the mossad, they have been known for years to be able to pick one iranian scientist out of a pack, hit someone on bicycle, take out terrorists or people that they accuse of being terrorists. So, the fact that they did not see this, coming there will be an argument in israel that the domestic controversies, which have completely engaged and engulf the country, over changing the supreme court, if the country divided, with the military and intelligence officials also opposing some coalitions planned, that that, maybe, was a distraction, but then maybe not paying attention through gaza. Because they managed to do an extraordinary thing, and a coordinated attack in multiple ways, getting through some of the best defenses on that border, in the world. And it is very hard to understand how also the u. S. Had no notice and were completely blindsided that this was coming. Andrea, if you would, walk us through the criticism we have heard of the iran deal, and what it is you are hearing, what pushback from the white house . The push back against what the white house did has been completely been denied tonight by the white house. The pushback has been from the beginning, from the republicans, notably donald trump, was making this Point Social Media today, that Six Billion Dollars of iranian money not u. S. Money, which they claim, falsely but its iranian money that had been frozen, was being transferred to the central bank, they are federal reserve, of qatar. And it would be doled out, piece by piece, when the u. S. Treasury confirms that the account that it is going to is for only humanitarian purposes, food or medicine. That said, today, what we were told, and repeated tonight, very strongly, that not a single penny of that its not in pennies i guess it is now, its been transfer to dollars or euros, convertible currencies. But none of it has been spent, yet. It has not been gone down. The treasury has not approved any spending. Its just been transferred. But its a very complicated process for them to spend it. And that none of it would be spent on money is fungible. And thats always been the argument, if they dont have to spend it on medicine, you know, they can spend more money on weapons. But in any case, the white house is saying and weve heard this from the state Department Officials as well that none of that money has yet been spent. And that they are not the first to let iran unfreeze money to get prisoners and to get americans back. So thats their defense. Nbc news chief foreign correspondent, andrea mitchell. Really officials, say hundreds ofs soldiers and civilians are dead. This is unprecedented attack by hamas on israeli territory. Axios reporter, described the fatal event earlier on msnbc. This is, i think, israels 9 11. Pretty clearly. The death toll is expected to rise. I would expect at least double of that number and i think this is shocking to many israelis not Israeli Society about the Israeli Military not the israeli leadership everyone was caught by surprised. Israel responded with strikes in gaza. Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to respond over the coming days and weeks. Lets bring in retired u. S. Army colonel, jack jacobs, hes an msnbc military analyst. Medal of honor recipient. Colonel jacobs, thank you so much for being with us. Your assessment of what weve seen today, and the conversations likely happening among members of the Israeli Military today . Well, the first thing, shocked that nobody saw coming. Not israel and not the United States. Both of us have really potent intelligence gathering capabilities. And intelligence production capabilities. And its astonishing that nobody knew that this was coming. Especially in view of the fact that masses of troops can be detected quite easily assembling of missiles can be observed in a very small space, which is gaza. The first lesson here is that both the United States and israel have to do a much better job of intelligence and theres Something Else thats astonishing to. Hamas reaching the barriers between gaza and israel. With great ease and not under fire so. Its clear that the hamas figured out exactly which areas were not there was no overwatch and no support and therefore could preach those obstacles quite easily. Go ahead, im sorry, colonel. Korea. Among the complicating elements moving forward, hamas has taken israeli civilians as soldiers hostage in gaza. I wonder, strategically, how that then complicates military options for the israelis . Well, thats exactly whats gonna bring up. There are three major things on netanyahus plate. The first is, hostages back. Its complicated in a number of ways. Some of the hostages wont even take into gaza. Getting rid of hamas forces that dont have hostages that are currently on israeli soil is gonna be relatively easy. Getting hostages back is going to be extremely difficult, especially those inside gaza. There are some hamas forces with israeli hostages, on israeli territory, who now surrounded. What are they gonna do about those . Thats a real tactical problem. How do you get them back when theyre already inside gaza. Thats a tactical problem. The third thing thats on his plate, retribution. The israeli populous is going to want Something Back for this. Its going to be extremely difficult for netanyahu, politically, to do absolutely nothing, to counter strike and go actually inside gaza. He can do what he can with air, and theyre already putting in airstrikes on known targets. But theres gonna be a lot of impetus inside the Israeli Government for netanyahu to get in order to bring forces inside gaza. Theyve done it before, its not a very nice thing to do, very difficult thing to do, as we know, its extremely densely populated, a lot of casualties, collateral damage, civilian casualties, and so. One and then have to leave eventually anyway. How are they gonna get the hostages out of gaza . Its a much more difficult problem, then getting the hostages away from hamas. Who are still on israeli soil, alicia. We talked about one, border as this conflict excellence, concerned that it could spread specifically attacks from militants on israels northern border. Talk about that scenario the unique Security Risk israel is now facing with. Well, it happened before. With the enemy coming over from lebanon. All of these forces, palestinian forces, are supported by iran. And theres a cogent argument that says that one of the reasons it is have been, this attack has happened, its because despite irans support, hamas itself has been marginalized by discussions with saudi arabia, for example. To normalize relationships, successful discussions already, agreements, in the gulf to normalize relations with israel. This is further isolated hamas. And has given them the motivation to conduct the attack. Now, if this continues for sometime, we can expect that there might be incursions from southern lebanon, that have already been attacks, missile attacks, from time to time. And to open up a second front in this war. Thats gonna make it extremely difficult for netanyahu government to defend. Especially in view of the lack of Support Netanyahu has had recently, because of political machinations instead a the Israeli Militarys reserves. One expected is gonna have the backing for the relatively short period of time but unless there are some success at getting hostages back, which weve already discussed is extremely difficult theres gonna be an erosion of support for Making Incursions elsewhere in gaza even for defending in the north in for netanyahu personally in his political russian aspirations to maintain control, alicia. A series of complex issues, colonel jack jacobs, as always, thank you so much for being with us next complex politics inside gaza in the west bank. Will lead up to these attacks. Former senior National Security official, hear youre gonna hear from National Security analyst, about what the fbi is likely doing right now to protect people in the United States, and what we should all make of the massive Intelligence Failure. Back with our special coverage of the war declared in israel. Moments ago, more explosions over gaza city. According to gazas ministry of health, the air strikes have left around 232 palestinians dead. And nearly 1700 wounded. Israels foreign Ministry Says, hamas is offensive as killed at least 200 israelis. And injured 900. Israel also reports, hamas Is Holding Civilians and soldiers hostage. Severe escalation today, did not happen in a vacuum. The conflict has been simmering. Major point of contention, control of the alaqsa mosque. A highly disputed religious site in jerusalem. Hamas and surrounding area reserved for islamic worship. Israels far right government has angered hamas by allowing jews to prather. The attacks also come at a moment of, upheaval in israeli politics, for months, Prime Minister netanyahus government has faced protest over an effort to reform the countrys judiciary. Planned critics have called it the power grab. Joining me now, hey garcia, molly a former spokesperson for the u. S. Mission to the united nations. Former syria and lebanon actor for the white house, she is the host of oh my world. Help us understand the context in which these attacks were launched . Im glad you talked about this. This is a really important point. Prime minister netanyahu took office, Again For A Second Tenure In December Of Last Year and since then, his tensions between israelis and palestinians have been at an alltime high in the reason for that is that he has pursued very hardline policies. He has a cabinet that is quite, to quote President Biden, quite extreme. And the reason is, they pursued a number of tough and even provocative policies. Things like expandings elements further. Beyond what weve seen in the past. And numerous raids in the west bank. Where weve had numerous Palestinian Civilians and militants dead. Of course, as you mentioned, earlier, the reads at the alaqsa mosque and policies around the alaqsa mosque. These are stepbystep things theyve been escalating. Weve had four years, by the way, years, holidays when things get really tense. Youve had violence bubble up, protests turned into violence. And then hamas reacting with these types of missiles. Its not something that were not used to seeing, but this attack, the way it happened, the way it was sent to surprise. How brutal it was with hamas militants crossing into the southern border. Has been especially especially unprecedented. An element of surprise. Philip israels Opposition Leader already calling for unity with netanyahus government. Could this crisis, the extent to which this crisis could alter israels internal politics . Well, the question here that you have, and i dont mean in any way, shape or form to justify this type of violence. At all. However, you have to question given how tyke has increased. Due to the policies lid by the netanyahu government. You have to question if those policies are ultimately able to keep Israeli Citizens safe. Israelis themselves are not united behind netanyahu, they dont all support his policies. By the, way that goes the same for palestinians. Numerous palestinians who dont support hamas. And their behavior either. And the fact is, as you mentioned earlier, things were already shaky inside israel. Because of efforts on the part of netanyahu to overhaul the judicial system. And he already made one major step in doing that. He has numerous places for doing that. By the way, that is one of the first things an authoritarian leader does. When they are seeking to assert control, is to take over the judiciary. There is no check or balance. You have protests in israel, up to the Hundreds Of Thousands of israelis, protesting against these moves. So, you do have those cracks and fissures. But i do know in a moment like this, i dont believe that that those cracks and fissures are Gonna Surface yet. During wartime, they are going to unite. Once war is over, for sure, the opposition is going to point at Bibi Netanyahu and say, listen, his policies are clearly endangering all of us. Hagar, israeli officials, they have warned Palestinian Civilians, civilians, that an extended assault is coming. That they should get out of the, way they should leave. That, of course, ignores the question of where exactly it is their supposed to go. Right. You know, i thought about, it i think about this a lot. I remember the last time you head violence between the two. Israel dropped fires for Palestinian Civilians in gaza to leave their apartment buildings. But when they receive, them it was very late. So, its possible that israel try to do that again, theyll drop these fires. So folks should be on alert. As you mentioned, gaza is the size of washington, d. C. , times two. To washington d. C. s. That is very small. It is not like i can pour into egypt, or pour into israel, the only side they can go. It is very difficult. That said, that is likely what i expect to happen. And i do expect what israel is doing in issuing these warnings, in the, past israel has been extremely brutal and its response. When they are faced with terrorist attacks, or any type of attacks from hamas. Or other militants. But this one will be, i expected to be the most devastating, the most ruthless. And the reason is for how this attack happened, in the fact that theyve taken Prisoners Of War in hostages. And that just how horrific its been right now for the south of israel. Very small, but very densely populated, of course. I wonder where does this conflict leave americas relationship with iran and saudi arabia . It will in the region . Well, when it comes to the Normalization Deal that you have going on right, now being negotiated between israel and saudi arabia, the u. S. , President Biden, was really seeking to hope to finish, it seems, and it seemed to be moving along. I expected to be postponed. I dont expect it to fall apart. The saudis had said that they had not yet reached, they werent ready yet. They want an improvement on the palestinian issues. And, obviously, were not gonna face that right now. But i dont expect this to unravel everything. The reason for, that well this attack is unprecedented, its also, we are used to this kind of violence between gaza and israel. And it hasnt unraveled these talks before. So, i dont expect that to be undermined. When it comes to iran, i would note, because ive seen a lot of republican banter, of course, blaming the Biden Administration for whats happening in israel. Because of any type of work with iran. That is so absurd. Just plain propaganda. And the reason for that, is because trump imposed the maximum pressure campaign, all the sanctions. Great. Biden never lifted any of those sanctions. Including sanctions that have been lifted before, under obamas tenure. Meaning, when iran is able to have oil proceeds, for example. So, none of that is back in place. So, the sheer notion that it is because of bidens efforts with iran, which by the, way i dont agree at all being good. But because of that, that it led to this war, it just doesnt even make sense. Hamas has been building this for a while. This is a massive Intelligence Failure at the heart of this. But this has been hamas behavior for a long time. So, i dont expect much to shift, the u. S. Government has always been very harsh. When it came to irans support for terrorism across the region. Hagar chemali, ive got about 30 seconds left, as only as what is the region very closely, what is youre gonna be watching for the next 24, 48 hours. The thing that im really concerned about, hostages. And the Prisoners Of War. I dont believe, well it will complicate things heavily for the israeli side i dont believe it will make them hold back in their actions and strikes in gaza. Im curious to see if negotiating that as soon as possible would be better. So, perhaps theyre gonna take palestinian prisoners, that will be looking for. Hagar chemali, as always, thank you so much for joining us. Next, former fbi special and in charge agent, talk to us about irans role in this conflict. The fbi is likely to do right now to protect United States homeland. Our special coverage continues after this. After this se. Meet arexvy. the first fdaapproved rsv vaccine. As shes forced out of a car. Her family says she was at a party with her partner and went missing, a reminder of the complex situation is really secured officials are faced with tonight. Tonight, we have also seen an escalation of airstrikes in gaza, as israel responds to todays hamas attack. Coordinated attacks from the air, sea and ground of israels militarized how that could that have happened. Former fbi Assistant Director for Counter Intelligence frank, israels Intelligence Service they are regarded as some of the best years how they go about figuring out exactly what happened in the lead up to today. Whats happened here defies all known logic with regard to the excellent of Israeli Intelligence and Israeli Defense force intelligence as well. During my fbi career, i traveled to israel, i met with the Senior Leadership of the internal and external internal Intelligence Services. I think about the Intelligence Service for the Israeli Defense forces. I can tell you, i came away incredibly impressed and almost envious of their ability. Controlling your domain. They know, they control. The resources are outstanding and pervasive. What happened. Its before doing even if you. Willing to accept that many of the Human Sources in this is conjecture now, when you look at a disaster like this, you have to wonder. Lets assume for a minute that all other Human Sources went bad on them. They were doubled. They were Double Agents to them, they really working for the palestinians. Okay, thats the human side of intelligence collection. What happened then to the technical side of collection, which, by the way, the israelis are at standing at. As well. We have a loss here. Somethings been compromised, something went horribly wrong. We dont know, and it will take much time to figure that out. We cant spend that time now. Because, of course, these rallies have to deal with whats in front of them. Which is a horrible Hostage Situation, which is certainly restraining the use of force to resolve this. We may see a protracted Hostage Negotiation or exchange of prisoners before we see a really Hard Military action. Talk to us about the nature of u. S. And Israeli Intelligence sharing. Theres been a lot of reporting in the past 24 hours. About enhanced increase capabilities, increased sharing. What is likely happening on that front as we speak . Without a doubt, the pattern of u. S. Intelligence agencies is coming in, going live on source coverage. And theyre sharing and enhancing without getting into classified details anything that can be done, technically, electronically, or human wise, it is going to get done. To figure out, not only what was missed, but more importantly, what happens next. Where is the leadership . Where is the hostages . Where are they located . Whos got them and where . Thats all going to be, essentially, an allied effort to help the israelis get out of this incredibly tragic mystery. And of course, alicia, there is the u. S. Response to this. In terms of the domestic homeland situation. Which will be led by the fbi and other domestic agencies. Over the past two hours, weve talked with people who have diplomatic backgrounds, military backgrounds, about the role iran has played in all of this. I want to hear from you with your National Security expertise and background. Where do you believe iran fits in . Theres no question that iran has been supportive of hamas through the years. And very interestingly, weve seen even hezbollah and hamas mary up together. I say interestingly, because of two different factions within the muslim religion. One is sunni, one is she. When it comes to a common enemy, israel, they are willing and have demonstrated that they can work together. Why is that important . Hezbollah is a mighty, mighty force to be reckoned with. With lots of weaponry, lots of munitions, and lots of people they can really hurt people. So, when we look at how hamas pulled this off, they could not have done this alone. So, we have to look at hezbollah, and who is the sponsor of hezbollah . The nation of iran. Thats going to come under scrutiny in the days and weeks ahead. When you see an attack like this abroad, what is then the Security Apparatus that goes into effect in the United States to assure that religious institutions that are shored up. Yeah, weve already seen reporting, Wall Street Journal among others, reporting that the New York Post department, for example, has stepped up their coverage of religious sites. Synagogues throughout the new york area. And predominantly jewish neighborhoods. I would also note, there is equal concern about retaliation against the Muslim American community. S. , local police added security and synagogues and other jewish institutions. Joining us now, nbc National Correspondent liz quite. What have you been hearing from jewish and palestinian communities today . Hey, alicia. Here in los angeles, people are just saying theyre sad. Theyre devastated. Theyre watching the horror of whats unfolding, thousands of miles away. As for the jewish community, its not just a holiday, in israel, its a saturday it is the sabbath, it is a day of worship in a day of rest and we were in a neighborhood with a large Orthodox Jewish population. One man was asking us to tell him the latest out of israel. Because he said its the sabbath, im not on my phone. And when we told him the latest, he was just so dejected and said, he asked, i dont understand how theres such a huge security failure. How did the Israeli Government not know . As for palestinians that weve spoken to, here, obviously, also watching one woman saying shes trying to get a hold of her family in gaza. We did get a statement from the students in palestine, they told us that its, quote, imperative to understand that palestinians have suffered under occupation for decades. And resistance is a response to the daily violence that they face. Thats what were hearing from both sides here, alicia. Liz, the added security at synagogues, can you tell us about that . Yeah, were here at a synagogue right now, lapd says the ramping up patrols at synagogues, mosques, and other religious institutions. Its not just here in l. A. , its happening in cities across the country. Including nypd. Theres a feeling from both sides that when conflict escalates overseas in israel and gaza, that there can be a higher chance of violence here at home in the u. S. But its not just law enforcement, thats making some changes and taking precautions, were also hearing about Major Airlines that are making changes. Some airlines from the u. S. Here have now canceled their flights to israel. Theres even that flight from San Francisco to tel aviv that was on its way to tel aviv, flying over greenland, when it got turned around and went back to San Francisco. So, those are some of the changes as well here. Striking to see you outside of that synagogue, i also think about telling us in the last block that theres already heightened security in addition to synagogues at mosques throughout this country.
