Through loud and clear, if it hasnt already, the extent of the January 6th Riot On Capitol Hill and the former president s role in all of it. An Impeachment Trial Set to start in just three days time, but Donald Trumps lawyer says that he has found the real villains in all of this. The democrats. Theres an awful lot of tape of cities burning and courthouses being attacked and federal agents being assaulted by rioters in the street cheered on by democrats throughout the country, and many of them in washington using, really, the most inflammatory rhetoric its possible to use. When you have the president of the United States give a speech and he says you should peacefully make your thinking known to the people in congress, hes All Of A Sudden a villain. So, while the previous president s preparing to defend the indefensible, the current one is trying to solve the crisis that he left behind. From new efforts to get more vaccines to all americans to the push for covid relief, President Biden is using a simple mantra. We can fix it. We cant do too much here. We can do too little. We can do too little and sputter. But again, the end result is, its not just the macroeconomic impact on the economy and our ability to compete internationally. Its peoples lives. Real live people are hurting, and we can fix it. But were going to begin with the fallout from the vote to remove republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor greene from her committee assignments. Joining me now, democratic congressman dan kildee of michigan, chief deputy whip of the House Democratic caucus and a member of the Budget Committee in which Marjorie Taylor greene was removed from. Congressman, thanks for joining us on this. Really appreciate it. Can i first just get your reaction, congressman, to this tweet . From your colleague, Marjorie Taylor greene, and let me just bring it up for folks and reread it so everybody understands what im talking about once again. Heres what she wrote. I woke up early this morning literally laughing, thinking about what a bunch of morns the Democrats Plus 11, shes talking about the republicans, are for giving someone like me free time. In this democrat turn cal Government Conservative republicans have no say on committees anyway. Oh, this is going to be fun. Congressman . Well, its kind of pathetic, actually. First of all, who shes really laughing at are the republicans who went along with her, who said that her behavior was normal and should be acceptable and voted against stripping her from those committees. Shes mocking the very people who were either afraid of their own voters or afraid of her or perhaps President Trump by making essentially a mockery out of the fact that shes not going to be on these committees. Thats one thing. But the other thing is this. People run for congress to serve in congress, not to use the platform of a congressional seat and the staff and pay that come with it to have fun. To have fun. What kind of fun are we talking about . Shes supposed to legislate. And shes celebrating the fact that her ability to legislate has now been compromised by her own bizarre beliefs and frightening behavior and i just i think its a very sad day. I also just need you to comment on the plus 11 republicans, the only people from the Republican Party of the republicans, the 11 that voted in favor of removing her from committee, and i got to read from this Washington Post oped from dana milbank in which she says in which this is said. 199 House Republicans have embraced antisemitism and violence. Greenes ugly pronouncements about muslims and black people and her harassment of the School Shooting survivors and families of victims are no less reprehensible but the rallying around this unrepentant antisemite by republicans is an ominous new frontier. What do you make of those 199 House Republicans . Well, i think, ironically, if that had been a secret ballot, many of them would have voted to strip her from those committees. If it had been a secret ballot, many of them would have voted to impeach the president. If it had been a secret ballot isnt that a problem in and of itself . It is. It is. I mean, what we see here is less about a change in ideology within that party is that its become essentially a transactional party. Whatever they have to do to keep their seat, whoever they have to offend, they dont mind. And its just a really cynical use of an institution that i think should be treated with much greater respect, and thats really the frightening piece of this is that what we used to have are two really big ideological differences within the parties that would battle over a battle of ideas. Now you just have one party that is just cashed it all in with the exception of a handful, for sure. But theyve just sort of cashed in anything that has to do with the philosophy of government, and its just all about playing this great big game to try to stay in congress, and believe me, if thats the way theyre going to approach this, you know, i hope that right thinking republicans, sooner or later, will come around and insist on them to start to behave like republicans, not like people who are just doing whatever they have to do to hold on to a seat in congress. You i mean, you talked to your republican colleagues. Do you think they will . What would make them, quote, unquote, come around . I think its going to take the same thing thats getting them to do what theyre doing now. Its going to take people speaking up, you know, this is a participatory democracy. The voices that are heard are the voices that have impact, and right now, the voices that are being heard by those republicans are the loudest voices that support the likes of Marjorie Taylor greene and donald trump. Its the qanon party now. And if real republicans, conservatives, people with whom i may have a lot of differences but who respect the institution and respect democracy, if they dont somehow have their voices heard, sadly, i dont think it will change. Unless someone, for gods sake, starts to exercise some leadership. This is where i think the Republican Leadership in the house with the exception of liz cheney, has really abdicated their responsibility. Their job is to tell people the hard truth, not just to give them the easy way out, and that seems like what mr. Mccarthy seems to be so willing to do is just think about the easiest path forward and not forcing his members to do the hard thing. You know, Tell The Truth to the people that they work for. They wont do it. Yeah. While i have you, i do want to touch on covid relief here, because it is so incredibly important to the american people. When we know so many people are suffering, emotionally and economically, and its going to continue even when we do get back to some sort of normality. As we look ahead here, congressman, to covid relief, talk us through quickly the next steps now that we know the senate has passed the Budget Resolution to fast track this bill. Does this mean, basically, the democrats are committed to going it alone at this point . Well, going it alone, i think, is a bit of an overstatement. The next steps are we write the legislation. Im on the Budget Committee but also on the ways and Means Committee and a big chunk of there legislation will come through our committee. Were going to write the legislation next week. But at that point in time, now we have a then well have a bill, and its up to the republicans whether its a bipartisan bill. It will not have been a negotiated bill with Republican Leadership, but its supported by a majority of republicans across the country, and it can be supported by republicans in the house and the senate if they have an honest conversation with their constituents and say, look, this is the choice. Its either this bill, which was not negotiated in a bipartisan fashion, its been legislated through the committees, its either this or nothing. And you know, given the support that the biden plan has across the country, it should have broad bipartisan support in the Congress Just like it does among the population. So, even though were using a technique that is traditionally thought of as being a partisan technique, the reconciliation process, theres nothing that predisposes any republican to vote no on this legislation. They can join with us and vote for it because their constituents with asking them to. I think the keyword that you used there, though, was should. Should have broad bipartisan support. Will it, i think, really, is the question going into this thing. Democratic Congressman Dan Kild Ee of michigan, thank you, congressman. Appreciate you spending time with us this afternoon. Thank you very much. So, i want to bring in my panel now, jeff mason, Reuters White House correspondent, susan, republican strategist and nbc political analyst and donna edwards, former democratic congresswoman from maryland, contributing columnist at the Washington Post and an msnbc analyst. Welcome, all. Guys, appreciate it. Jeff, i guess i want to start with you on this one because as i was just mentioning and talking with the congressman about this and were going to get to Marjorie Taylor greene and unpack that as well, but i want to stick with covid relief for one moment. He kind of used that keyword, jeff, of should, right . It should get some bipartisan support, because at this point, it seems as if and i asked the question the way i did, the process theyre using, it seems the democrats will be going at this alone. You know, without republican support. Is there any sense that republicans are openminded to voting in support of a bill that has been created, built by democrats without Republican Leadership . Not that i have seen. I mean, im certainly not in a position to rule that out, but i think what we have seen over the last few days is that thats not the direction that this is going in, and the white house was asked about that repeatedly on friday, and they are portraying it as, to some extent, being bipartisan because there is so strong bipartisan support for it in the country, but that doesnt translate to it being a bipartisan bill if it is something that only democrats vote for. And that may or may not be the way that President Biden really wants to start off his term. He has said that its more important to get this relief out to americans and to do it in any way possible, but it certainly does not fit, broadly, with his desire to govern in a bipartisan way and to have people from both sides of the aisle helping with his legislation. But in that, you know, hes also his hand is, to some extent, tied behind his back if he cant get any republicans to cross the aisle, despite some outreach by the democrats and by this white house. Its interesting, jeff, that you say, his hands are kind of, you know, his hands are tied. I want to play some sound of jen psaki yesterday at the white house briefing, and she was responding to a question of how kind of this sense of unity and bipartisanship that the president has promised in his early days of his presidency. Lets listen. The president ran on the on unifying the country and putting forward ideas that would help address the crises were facing. He didnt run on a promise to unite the democratic and Republican Party into one party in washington. This package has the vast majority of support from the American Public. He is somebody who is keeping the door open. He will remain engaged with republicans. I mean, donna, shes got a point, right . I mean, it doesnt mean that the president is going to necessarily undermine his own policies in order to reach across the aisle and placate republicans, but that being said, are you worried that with the passage of this 1. 9 trillion relief bill, and republicans not involved in the architecture of it, that hes then going to run up against a wall when he wants to pass other things, other legislation that the president supports, for instance, infrastructure, and that sort of thing . Well, i dont know if i agree with that. First of all, one step at a time. I think what the president has done, President Biden has met with republicans. Hes heard them out. Theyve heard him out. They have the ability to come back with some ideas of their own. They havent done that thus far, but the president is committed to doing what it takes to unify the country, which he has around a set of bold ideas to get this economy going, to make sure that covid relief is delivered, and i think in that sense, you see why the president s Approval Ratings sit at over 60 because the American Public trusts that he is going to take the bold steps that it takes to get us out of these multiple crises, and republicans, i believe theyre probably will end up being a couple of republicans who come over and vote for this bill, but they have the opportunity to put some other ideas forward. They havent done that. And democrats need to do what it takes to make sure they can deliver relief to the american people. I mean, the republicans did put an idea forward when it came to a Relief Measure but it was a fraction of what the president has put forward, the plan that the president had put forward. It was minuscule in comparison to the massive bill that the president has put forward. Susan, lets talk about Marjorie Taylor greene here. And i mentioned this Washington Post oped by dana milbank because it was startling reading through this thing and when you think about the 11 members of congress that voted in favor of stripping Marjorie Taylor greene of her committee assignments, you then think about the 199 that did not vote in favor of that. What do you make of whats happening inside the Republican Party right now when you have someone like Marjorie Taylor greene outright saying the things that she has said, seeing tape of it, hearing it, and yet only 11 members voting in favor of stripping her of her assignments . Its disgraceful, but whats even worse is Kevin Mccarthy, the minority leader, or kevin mcq, theyre calling him nowadays. Going and not leading his conference. He is acquiescing to his conference. Hes supposed to be leading. He knows whats right. She they could have actually done this within the conference, and they didnt do it because he is afraid of her, and hes afraid of donald trump, but most of all, hes concerned about raising money, and he needs that trump money in order to make a run for the majority in 2022. Ill argue that this is all going to backfire on him greatly. The pickups that they were able to make, the republicans, in 2020 will start being eroded because no one wants a republican conference of q. They dont believe in it, and its wrong. Now, well see how many people how many members actually republicans vote for the relief bill and i believe donnas correct, you will see republicans go there, because the one thing that elected officials like to follow, poll numbers. And you do have, you know, twothirds of the country supporting bidens relief package. So, at this point, its disgraceful what the Republican Party has done. At least we hear some words from some, especially on the senate side, from mitt romney, even Mitch Mcconnell said this was loony. Q is loony, but took some words out, its a cancer on the Republican Party. So well see. But i think that theres a chance that there will be some tide turning. So, its interesting, susan, that you bring this up and jeff, i want you to jump in on this from your reporting specifically. What sense are you getting from inside the Republican Party as to whether or not there, in fact, will be some sort of tide turning . Because i was just speaking about this with the congressman, and i kind of wanted to press him in his private conversations as to that tide turning. What needs to happen in order for this tide to turn, if, in fact, it ever will within the Republican Party. I mean, i think if youre the leadership of the Republican Party right now, youre not happy that newscasts like this one and others are constantly leading with the comments from congresswoman taylor greene. Its just not a winner. In addition to the fact that its outrageous, the things that she has said. And the fact that so far, the party is the leadership is finding a way to sort of thread the needle and keep her in the tent and also keep the liz cheneys in the tent is a sign of how fractured it is, and i dont know the answer to your question as to when the tide will turn or if the tide will turn. Surely, we will see the results of that in a couple years at the next round of midterm elections. But right now, its complete disarray, and that is not a healthy position for a party to be in that did fairly well in 2020. Obviously, with the exception of the white house that wants to build on that in the next two to four years. Donna, i just quickly want you to want to get you to weigh in on this reporting of possibly making sure that the former president doesnt receive any intelligence briefings. What is your reaction to that . Oh, im so glad that President Biden has decided to do this, because i think it would have been, you know, we already saw donald trump as president very dangerously on multiple occasions letting Classified Information slip, whether intentionally or not, and i think it would be irresponsible for him to receive those briefings, because he cant be trusted, and he is, as President Biden has said, hes erratic, and so nobody like that needs to have access to all of our Classified Information. I think that it was one of the best decisions that the that President Biden could have made in this regard. Right now. All right, jeff mason, susan, former democratic congresswoman donna edwards, thank you all, guys. Appreciate it. Welcome back, everybody, while States Grapple with complicated vaccination rollouts, West Virginia is being heralded as a success story. The state has already delivered 99 of its covid19 doses to community partners, many of which are already in the arms of West Virginians. Nbcs gary is in martinsburg, West Virginia, with more on essentially how officials accomplished this. Its amazing to think about the story in West Virginia and how specifically how well theyve done, gary. Talk us through this. Reporter hey there, yasmin, yeah, were at a vaccine clinic today. Weve seen about 600 people come through and get the Pfizer Vaccine. I talked to one woman who said she felt like she was getting a willy wonka Golden Ticket by being one of the 600 people that have done this today here in martinsburg and there are a number of things making this a success. Part of this is the clinics that are happening here. The other part is the Community Pharmacies across the state. West virginia was bucking the trend a little bit by going to Community Pharmacies instead of the National Chains like cvs and walgreens and so when we talked to a number of Community Pharmacists who are doing this and part of this community situation, because they really know the folks theyre talking to. They know their customers, the parents, the kids. Heres what a few of them had to say. Well, i tell you, a lot of people, you know, have struggled to get to a pharmacy for one thing. We deliver if we have to. We do Curbside Service for people who are afraid to come into the store. I know everyone who comes into my store. I know their parents. I know their kids. I know what they take. So they like that personal service. My mother was telling me growing up, you dont really have Primary Care Physicians or there wasnt a whole talk. You barely went to the doctor. You pretty much had to be on deaths door to even see a doctor so she said her local pharmacist was our doctor when we were growing up, when she needed advice or whatever. I think thats the most important thing. These are your neighbors, your friends, you know, your friends parents. And you just treat them like you would want to be treated. Reporter and the one thing we were hearing from these pharmacists in West Virginia that were also hearing across the country is supply, supply, supply. This clinic here is wrapping up within the next few minutes. They wish they could go all night. They just simply dont have the supply to do so. Yasmin . I love that. The Golden Ticket and the willy wonka factory. That person that told you that is absolutely right. Nbcs gary grumbach, thank you. With little to no accountability for the bloodshed and trauma of the 6th, some are already demanding that we move on or worse, attempting to minimize, discredit, or belittle the accounts of survivors. We know the feeling of being trapped in this room and believing that being taken hostage may be the best case scenario. This is a traumatic experience for all of us, on both sides of the aisle, and for our nation. It cannot be swept under the rug. How can we trust that you will address the suffering that White Supremacy causes on a daytoday basis in the shadows if you cant even address the White Supremacy that happens right in front of you in your house . So, members of congress, as you can see there, and hear, recounting their terror on january 6th on that day. Today, by the way, marking one month since that deadly insurrection at the capitol. Raising the front page of the New York Times today are more than two dozen people now facing conspiracy or Assault Charges in connection with the insurrection. Some of those, the latest arrests including a pennsylvania woman known as the Bull Horn Lady with the pink hat on. You see her there. Prosecutors saying that Rachel Powell is seen using a pole as a battering ram, going back and forth, trying to smash that window at the capitol on that day, just four weeks ago. The fbi saying a Dominos Pizza employee from massachusetts, brian mccareery, first reached out to them trying to send tips, saying that he was just an observer, but then he later bragged to his coworkers how he actually raided the capitol. A missouri man facing charges along with his niece. The fbi saying william mary jr. And emily hernandez, theyre seen here holding the broken sign from outside speaker pelosis office. Now, the Biden Administration is looking at how to overhaul the federal governments approach to domestic terrorism. New nbc news reporting saying this is not straightforward, and, quote, The Biden Team may confront significant institutional, legal, and political hurdles because of the lack of resources devoted to combat domestic terror compared to international terror. Lets bring in former fbi double agent and newsweek editor at large and margaret huang, ceo of the southern poverty law center. I want to start you on this one and get your reaction to this latest nbc news report. Kind of about the political and institutional hurdles essentially The Biden Team might confront when addressing domestic terrorism. And react to this for me because you think about the rise in both supremacy and domestic terrorism just in the last four years in this country, during the time of the trump administration. That should be enough to say, hey, look over there, its time to change our policy when it comes to domestic terrorism and focus our resources. Look, weve been fighting a Global War On Terror for the last 20 years. Somehow, that battle did not include domestic terrorism. Theres no reason and look, ive heard all the constitutional arguments and of course thats true. When i was an intelligence officer, you know, we had to carry on a little card that talked about domestic surveillance and were not allowed to do it but that aside, you know, there is a way to innovate. When i talk to former members of the joint Terrorist Task Force across this country, they always tell me, look, we have a domestic terrorism squad in most of these task forces. The problem is its just not a priority. So the reality here is that and this is not something that just happened under trump. Its been decades in the making. The reality is that White Supremacy and domestic terrorism and white nationalists have never been a priorities for the fbi and certainly with a Global War On Terror, the focus was islamists. Look, just to put that in perspective, after 9 11, the nypd went to every mosque within a hundred mile radius of new york city. We look at this, were talking about the individuals that carry out this act, but the conspiracy, the leadership, the monetary, you know, that went into this, the planning cell, thats not part of this investigation. So, you know, its a very difficult thing to say that theyre really taking this on the right way. I feel like if this was islamist or this was, you know, muslims that wed have a very different reaction right now. So, are you confident, though, naveed, that it will become more of a focus for the fbi, more of a priority . You talk about innovation. What do you mean . So, innovation in this case, its not just, you know, building applications. It really is, you know, as we saw from the national bombing, 16 months earlier, the National Police had come down and actually investigated him for, you know, building a bomb. In that case, there was no information sharing. The National Police department didnt have a seat at the joint Terrorist Task Force. They didnt converse with the bureau of investigation. So that data loss was not conveyed back to the fbi. The fbi was never even aware of this and 16 months later, he goes down to nashville and detonates. That part of information and intelligence thats coming from local police that isnt passed on to the fbi, unfortunately, i think thats a fundamental problem in this country when it comes to, you know, warnings and indications of a Terrorist Attack and until we fix that, that is going to be a problem. I hope the Biden Administration tackles this, but you know, again, its im concerned that were not putting the focus on the priority of this. Again, were focused on the individuals who broke into this, but we have to go after leadership. Thats what we do with terrorism. You have to identify leadership and you have to cut the head off the snake. Margaret, how important is it to turn this focus towards domestic terrorism, a, and b, build the case for us. Talk about the future here of White Supremacy, of domestic terrorism, of extremism here in the United States, especially when you talk about this new ajc article basically saying two georgia Militia Groups are now working together in that state. What does that say to the future of whats happening . Thanks so much for that question. We have been tracking white supremacist and extremist groups here in the United States for more than 30 years. And in fact, we actually reached out to the Department Of Defense for the first time in 1986, urging them to look at the links between the military and extremist groups. This is not a new problem in the United States. What happened on january 6th happened because Law Enforcement agencies, Security Agencies did not share information, as my colleague just noted. And so, they werent paying attention. The Technology Companies were not paying attention, and all of the Social Media Platforms were being used to actually organize the events that took place on january 6th. It is critical, moving forward, that we start to share information more coherently, more collectively, across not only federal agencies but also state and local Security Agencies and Law Enforcement agencies as well. Thats going to be the only way that were able to tackle these groups who are very decentralized, located in every state of the country, and need to have a concerted effort of Law Enforcement and security working together. So, i mean, i got to press you a little bit on this, margaret, because when you talk about Sharing Information and intelligence across agencies, it seems to me the reporting that came out of the january 6th riots, that that was actually what had happened, that there was intelligence shared about what was going to happen, the threat that existed against the Capitol Building on january 6th, and yet, the ball was dropped. The support was not there. And people were not prepared. I believe it was naveed who said thats because they have not prioritized going after these terrorist groups. And thats absolutely right. It is critical that not just Sharing Information but also that these agencies are committed to using that information to investigate and prosecute those who are committing these criminal acts. The splc does not support additional federal criminal statutes to go after domestic terrorists. We are concerned, as naveed, has noted, that when weve seen those efforts made in the past in response to National Security threats, theyve been used to go after communities of color, muslimamericans, africanamericans. We dont need additional legal statutes. What we do need is the will to use them, and we have all of the powers and Statutory Authority needed to go after these criminal terrorists. I got to say, just watching some of these images alongside you, margaret, as you speak, and naveed, its just amazing to think that was really just a month ago and all that has happened since then. Thank you both for this conversation. Up next, everybody, another week in republican double talk, including an amazing effort by House Minority leader Kevin Mccarthy we have to highlight for you. Welcome back, everybody, on the run were following another banner week in republican hypocrisy and topping the list once again, House Minority leader Kevin Mccarthy for this moment following his refusal to hold congresswoman Marjorie Taylor greene accountable for her support for a host of deranged conspiracy theories. I think it would be helpful if you could hear exactly what she told all of us, Denouncing Qanon i dont know if i say it right. I dont even know what it is. He really struggled with that word, qanon. It would really make you think that he was unfamiliar with the group if there werent numerous examples from the past where he had no trouble with it, including this interview back in august. Let me be very clear. There is no place for qanon in the Republican Party. I do not support it. And the candidate you talked about has denounced it. You got it there, mccarthy, and if he needed any more reminder, he could also reference all the qanon gear and signs sported by the Trump Supporters who attacked the capitol on january 6th. Next, theres Vocal Trump Advocate ellen wood. You may remember him loudly proclaiming baseless accusations of voter fraud in his home state of georgia, at one point even tweeting a suggestion Vice President mike pence should be tried for treason and then executed. So, now, hes under investigation for potential voter fraud himself in the state after he told a reporter that he actually had been living in South Carolina for months before the election. Thats weird. A probe has been started into whether he voted illegally in georgia. Grassley would not recognize her to speak because she was violating the chambers dress code. A grassley spokesman said he can interpret the rules as he sees fit. The denimclad representative pointed out not wearing a mask could kill people. There you go. For months, anti vacc groups have been Eroding Trust in vaccines. Some of those members could be administering your shot. A survey from Kaiser Health shows a shocking 28 of health care workers, essentially one in four who have seen firsthand the death and instruction inflicted by this virus are holding off on getting the shot. A lot of that hesitancy is being amplified online. Since the rollout began, while a lot of nurses cheered at the prospect of being first in line for this dose, an increasing number railed against it. On the day the Pfizer Vaccine was approved for use in december, a Nursing Group a member that much Group Warning colleagues there was evidence that the shots caused women to become infertile and that it would modify your dna. The misinformation has infiltrated the information page, it claimed dr. Fauci received a saline solution shot. Melanie, thanks for joining us on this. A lot of this is incredibly troubling, especially the Misinformation Being spread online because it reaches so many more people. You actually set up Nurses Who Vaccinate back in 2009. In a response interestingly enough to your own experience to the swine flu vaccination, talk to us about that. So i, myself, had fallen victim to the misinformation that has been on social media since basically the start. It really comes down to having a fellow colleague, a nursing educator, who took the time to help debunk the misinformation i was receiving on line. I carry with me i had been a victim to misinformation knowing how easy it is for College Edge Professionals to be victimized and fall to these scams. Thats what they are, scams. Sometimes you can have people who are meaning well who are asking questions, genuine questions and have concerns, or you can have, you know, organizations that are purposefully putting out disinformation. Nurses who vaccinate, were a team of nurses from all over the United States, All Over The World who come together to help debunk misinformation, to answer questions, concerns, mostly on social media because not only is that where all the patients are going for their information, thats where our fellow colleagues are going. We want to make sure we have a very strong presence on facebook, twitter, instagram and were there to provide answers to information people are looking for. I want to paint the picture for folks of whats happening in the health care community, especially to nurses. In this quote from mother jones you say some nurses who posted about getting the vaccine are dealing with a lot of harassment and threats. Then you talk about pregnant nurses. You say the backlash is particularly vicious and are attacked and accused of harming their unborn child. Whats going on . Its a very unfortunate consequence of being a Public Health advocate. You tend to be attacked and you have to really develop a very strong skin, a thick skin to get through some of these harassments and targeted insults. We are as an organization, Nurses Who Vaccinate, we work with other organizations to create kind of a Support System for anyone who wants to speak out about the importance of vaccines, theyre not alone. And its really important that we help to encourage all of our colleagues, all of our supporters. If you get a vaccine, shout it to the world. Let your family and friends know you are safe, its effective. Vaccines are one of the greatest achievements we have available to keep us safe and end this pandemic. We need to make sure people are encouraged and they feel safe to let their friends and family know theyve been vaccinated. So Nurses Who Vaccinate, what we do, were there to help provide a support of, you know, sometimes its a matter of reporting the harassments. Sometimes these nurses get death threats. We want to make sure they know how to contact the authorities behind the Social Media Platform and provide the guidance and support they need getting through these very difficult times. Are you worried this misinformation, these small percentage of people is going to do real damage to the Nursing Community . So antivaccine hesitancy has existed in the community before the panpandemic. Weve been trying to bring this to the forefront for many years now and we now have pretty tight networks of organizations and were working in collaborations with other Public Health advocacy groups to really continue this forward. So after coronavirus is, you know, under control, we will still be having to deal with vaccine hesitancy, whether its dealing with pediatric vaccine, geriatric vaccines, theres always going to be a need for nurses to be better educated and better supported in becoming advocates. Yes, i am afraid that this misinformation online can be harmful to the Nursing Community and thats why were coming out so strong and were trying to really make our presences known.
