TUPELO â¢Â Most Mississippians will take a COVID-19 vaccine once its available to them, according to an executive summary of a recent survey of vaccine confidence released by the Mississippi Department of Health released this week.
According to the results of the Mississippi COVID-19 Vaccine Confidence Survey, 73.2% of Mississippians surveyed indicated they will âdefinitely or likelyâ receive the COVID-19 vaccine when it is available to them. 16.6% remained undecided, while only 10.2% said they do not intend to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
However, vaccination plans vary at least slightly by gender, race/ethnicity, age, marital status education level, annual household income and political affiliation.
