The late actor-director Satish Kaushik (1956-2023) was a multi-talented artist who left an indelible mark on Indian cinema.He was born in 1956 in Mahendragarh, Haryana. He loved watching films from a young age, especially Mehmood's movies, and would often imitate his scenes at home. After graduating from Delhi's Kirori Mal College, he joined the National School of Drama. Following this, he attended the Film and Television Institute of India. He later moved to Mumbai to pursue his dreams. His debut film was Shekhar Kapur's "Masoom" in 1983, where he had a small role and also worked as an assistant director. Since then, he has acted in numerous movies and directed some acclaimed films as well. Not only was he a phenomenal actor known for his comedic timing and scene-stealing performances, but also a successful director who delivered heartwarming stories.
