do die, and the world of baseball lost Lasorda, the longtime Dodgers manager and all-around Los Angeles icon, at the age of 93 on Thursday.
Tommy was a legend in every sense of the word. He racked up a record of 1,599-1,439 as a manager, won World Series titles in 1981 and 1988 and earned four National League pennants and eight division titles during his 20-year (1976-1996) managing tenure with the Dodgers.
