Mother’s Day weather has a rain-maker to watch for southern Michigan

Mothers- it might be wet on your day if you live in the southern third of Lower Michigan. Here’s what to keep an eye on.
There will be a relatively large rain-maker mostly passing south of Michigan. The three best computer models in this situation show varying degrees of rain amounts shifting north into southern Michigan.
Usually the European Model is the most accurate, but can still be 25 miles to 50 miles off at 48 hours out. The European Model has the least rain in Michigan, bringing light rain just up into Michigan’s border counties with Indiana and Ohio. Here is the radar forecast from the European Model.
