A mother-of-two has died after her family ute with her husband and two young sons inside rolled while swerving to avoid an animal on a rural highway.
The 48-year-old's husband pulled her from the wreckage of their Mitsubishi Triton dual-cab on Wednesday morning and performed CPR but she could not be saved.
The family from Western Australia appeared to be on holiday when the tragic accident occurred on the Moonie Highway in Queensland's Western Downs.
The woman, her husband, sons aged six and nine, and two pet huskies were in the utility van towing a trailer, when it rolled several times before hitting a tree.
