Mother-of-two, 34, killed herself while waiting for abusive ex to face trial

Gemma Robinson was 'petrified' at having to face thug Joseph Falconer in court  
Falconer, 33, held Miss Robinson's neck as he repeatedly punched her in the face
He 'ended the gratuitous and violent assault with the indignity of spitting on her'
The mother-of-two, 34, was found hanged at her home in Dartford, Kent last July 
Because of time spent on remand Falconer could be released in six months' time
