Stuff from her home in Sydney.
Sheppeard previously went missing in 2003, when she was stranded on an exposed ridge in Arthur’s Pass National Park for eight days while on a tramp with a friend.
Her mother said she was trying not to worry, being “the second time round”.

Sheppeard is an experienced mountaineer with extensive knowledge, which saved her life 18 years ago.
Her mother said she had been all around the world, including the Swiss Alps, where she was rescued from a crevasse after injuring her ankle.
“She’s got no fear. That’s the problem – she might’ve climbed something or fell, I don’t know.”
