Do not impose
As a parent, we may subconsciously feel obligated to impose our values and beliefs on our kids. However, doing so we're depriving them of their own individuality and their ability to reason.

Silence can be a solution
Due to constant nagging or yelling, children may become distant from their parents and their loved ones. Therefore, silence or refraining from delivering all parental instructions can be the best solution at times.

Don't try to fix everything
A parent wants everything to be perfect. So in trying to maintain that, they seem to go overboard and become victims of stress and anxiety. Therefore, it is okay to let some things slide.
