KEY ACTION -- In its organizational meeting the board approved Ryan Gilbert to continue as president of the board and Tyler Bishko as vice president.
OTHER DISCUSSION -- It's a new year and a new semester, but school boards, including Triway, are continuing to deal with the old problem -- COVID-19.
A significant portion of the discussion at Triway's first board meeting of 2021 centered on the virus, said Superintendent Nate Schindewolf.
"We saw a pretty significant increase (in cases) after Thanksgiving," Schindewolf said. Although the spike wasn't within the school district itself, it resulted in a shortage of staff and substitutes.
