STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- This may come as no surprise to most, but New York City has officially been deemed the most traffic-congested city in the country.
Earlier this week, INRIX, a global transportation analytics company, released its 2020 Global Traffic Scorecard, an annual report analyzing traffic and mobility trends in over 1,000 cities around the world.
Generally speaking, the amount of congestion significantly dropped across the board in 2020, as the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic restricted travel and led many to abandon their daily commute in favor of working from home.
